I just bought a car from these guys a month ago. BIG MISTAKE! I took a gamble and am now paying dearly for it just because I really liked the car's appearance. KEYWORD: appearance. Under the hood, I have no idea what kind of work they did to cover up the problems during my test drive and when I brought in my own mechanic to test it.
One week after purchase: engine light turns on. I bring it in and they fix the issue BUT blame ME for driving the car to the limit. I just had to car for a week and spent most of my money on the car, what can I possibly do to the car to push it to the limit? Drive 200kmh? The tops I went with it (and I swear on my own life here) is 120kmh. If I can't even drive a car that's supposed to be in MINT condition (according to their website and high-pressure salesman) to that speed, then I should've just bought a 2 thousand dollar 1995 honda civic beatbox.
One week after fixing the engine light: REALLY LOUD noise from the back starts to pop up. I thought it's the summer tires I just installed so I go to an Audi dealership to get a 2nd opinion. Their answer: wheel bearing(s) shot. I know it's a used car and all but is there NO quality control with these used car dealerships? And wheel bearings are not supposed to just wear suddenly. It would start with a small noise then it gradually becomes very loud. My belief is this was a known issue that they masked by greasing up the bearing for my test drive/mechanic test. I returned and this time they told me to pretty much pay for the repairs (they have their own service center) or just go fk myself. I'm now going to pay out of my own pocket to get this fixed and from now on will live in constant fear that some other big problem is hidden with my newly purchased car.
I will be bringing this car to a Euro car specialist and have him do a full thorough inspection of every imaginable corner and part and hopefully find any hidden problems and get them sorted out before this impulsive and risky purchase of mine blows up in my face.
Lessons learned for me: don't be impulsive because shady, lying, irresponsible salesmen/dealerships are lurking out there waiting to lie and steal their way into your life savings.
Lesson hopefully you can learn from this: on top of being impulsive, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They don't sell mint condition cars, they don't stand behind their product (as shown by my case), and lastly, they don't give a crap if you die driving their cars. Obviously they're not in this for the long haul and are just trying to make a quick buck out of hardworking folks like me and you.
