Frustration and aggravation
I have been dealing with this company since February 22, 2009, when I placed an order for a 20 pc wedding flower set. It has been nothing but aggravation, frustration and ruined wedding dreams since day one. She does NOT return phone calls or emails. I was promised a picture of my flowers on or before March 29th. When I never received the picture, I started calling and emailing on a regular basis. When I did get in touch with a receptionist, all I got were excuses...one after another. Weather, family emergencies, swamped with orders, etc. Finally on April 14th, I contacted a newspaper in her town. Not only did I get the information for the Attorney General in PA but a reporter called Custom Silk Creations. Later that day, I received my very first email from CSilkC...an email telling me that she has canceled my order and would refund my money in 7-10 days. This is 50 days before my wedding and after I waited 7 weeks for her to deliver her flowers. Her website states 4-6 weeks from start to finish yet after 7 weeks I still had nothing, no flowers, no picture of the bouquet...NOTHING. Now I am receiving emails from her calling me names and being very unprofessional. I have filed complaints with the Attorney Generals office and with the BBB of Pennsylvania. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CUSTOM SILK CREATIONS. SHe is a rip off, she promises so much yet fails to deliver. She causes undue stress for brides. She is unprofessional and not worth the time or trouble. BEWARE DO NOT USE CUSTOM SILK CREATIONS!!!

Here is an excert from the BBB hot topics for February 2009- I have included the url so you can see it for yourself- btw- she is up to 29 complaints in the last year- please think twice before using this company- she has scammed too many people and I really don't want you to go through what she has put some of us through.

Consumer complaints allege that products ordered and paid for were never received, poor customer service, and lack of communication from the business. The company failed to respond to or resolve 16 out of 24 complaints processed by the BBB since the firm’s BBB file was opened in November or 2007.

no flowers
Placed an order, did not hear from these people after we paid. When I got no response to repeated emails, I desputed the charges with my bank. Now they tell me the company says I did not return items in a timely manner. WHAT ITEMS. All i GOT FROM THEM IS A CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT. What a bunch of lowlife crooks.

Never Received Flowers
I placed my order with Susan on January 6th, 8 weeks before my wedding. Of course, the production time is 4-6 weeks so I should have had nothing to worry about, right?! WRONG!! My wedding is in 9 days and I have still have not gotten a picture or shipment confirmation to say my flowers are on their way. I have emailed her numerous times and called and called only to get a machine saying the voice mailbox is full. As soon as my wedding is over, I plan to dispute with this woman to get my $150 back. Any tips?

Poor Service
If you are a bride that has nothing more to do than continually e-mail and call to leave messages for this company than by all means this is the company for you.
I don't even no where to begin. There has been nothing but problems since I hit the send key with my payment.
Once you fill out the information you get an immediate return e-mail letting you know that "Susan" calls consultations back on Wednesday's between certain times. It would be handy to have this information prior to ordering so you could leave your daytime phone number where you could be reached.
When I oredered my package for our wedding it took 4 Wednesday's for Susan to call me back instead of the 7-14 days she promises on her site.
I finally e-mailed her to see what the hold up was only to find out that she was calling the initial number I provided when I ordered my flowers,
which was my home number. I reminded her that I had sent her an e-mail the same evening I ordered the flowers to change the contact number because she doesn't give you any information until after you pay.
I finally touched base with her and we discussed colors and flower choices. She told me in 3 days she would e-mail a picture of my bouquet and if I wanted any changes to e-mail her back. The 3 days turned into a week and was only sent after I
e-mailed her requesting the picture.
The following day after receiving the picture I
e-mailed her with the changes I wanted. Instead of white flowers that I requested to accent the bouquet they were done in a cream/yellow color and I wanted it changed.
Now, understanding from prior experiences with Susan, you learn very fast that she does not answer your e-mails or phone calls quickly. After waiting a week I e-mailed her stating I had not received a revised picture of my bouquet.
She informed me that when she doesn't hear from "her" brides within a week she finishes making the packages and mails them. She claims she did not receive my e-mail regarding the changes, although throughout this process she has received all my prior e-mails.
Sure enough the flowers arrived later that week.
I e-mailed Susan to let her know how unhappy I was and she said that if I was not happy to send them back and she would make the changes.
I debated sending them back. I was afraid if I sent them back I would never see the flowers again.
I chose to take them to a local shop where I live and have the gal there reconstruct them to my liking.
She did an excellent job, for a price.
I guess you could say I am lucky that I at least received my wedding flowers.
I will tell you this, if you think you are getting a good price on these wedding flower packages this company offers, think again. For the additional money it cost me to have the flowers redone by a local florist, I could have gotten all the flowers done there for not much more and probably with a lot less headaches.

Product Not Recieved
I was supposed to recieve my flowers by 11/17, they came in 2 days before my wedding. The toss bouquet was missing and the bouts were so ugly (not at all like the website pictures) I had to buy new ones, they weren't even usable. The one e-mail she finally sent me back on the subject said that she'd mail me a check that day for the amount of the toss bouquet (of course it never came) and that the bouts were exactly what I'd ordered. This woman doesn't reply to most e-mails, no one ever answers the phone - even when you're going nuts because your wedding's in a couple days and you have no flowers!

PAID FOR FLOWERS NEVER DELIVERED
I ORDER FLOWERS FOR MY WEDDING IN JUNE, THEY BILLED MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE ORDER RIGHT THEN, I KEPT GETTING THE RUN AROUND ABOUT WHEN THE FLOWERS
WERE GOING TO BE SENT, EVER EMAIL, WAS JUST ANOTHER
DEAD END. ON OCT 8TH I BEGGED, FOR AN ANSWER MY
WEDDING IS OCT 25, 2008. NO RESPONSE FROM THEM, NOW
I AM RUNNING AROUND TRYING TO GET FLOWERS FOR MY
WEDDING, BE WARNED THESE PEOPLE WILL TAKE YOUR
MONEY, AND NOT DELIVER THE GOODS, NOR WILL THEY

Terrible service
I ordered from Custom Silk Creations in July 2008. I received a phone call from Susan in late August stating I would receive my proof via email by the week of August 27, 2008 and receive the product by September 3, 2008. I have not received anything as of September 29, 2008. She does not return phone calls or emails and when she does email, she is dishonest. I have read positive and negative reviews. I hope to get the product in a timely manner and be pleased. In the meantime, my stress level is getting higher and higher. I have requested a proof by October 1, 2008 or a refund. Wish me luck. No answer to email
The bride to be found this business on online and decided to use them. I admit the work seems very well done. We ordered in like February. We went through the entire process and everything seemed fine. Until now. We are getting married Aug. 30th and have yet to get our flowers. We have emailed and called to see if we can get a tracking number only to be ignored. We did get an email from "Debbie" at CSC that said "There is nothing wrong with your order it is done and it does look shipped but I am writing her a huge note. For her to call you this evening." That was the last thing we heard. I waited up to 12am EST (1am here) and nothing. This on a work night too. Looking on this board it seems that Susan has spent some time here so this is what I'm forced to do.
This complaint is not against her workmanship as I have YET to see it first hand.
It is not saying I have not received the order before the wedding as we have untill Friday for that.
It IS what feels like being ignored. A simple "Hi. Your order was shipped <Blank> and here is the tracking number. (If any)
With the wedding only days away and budget tight I would hate to have to go local and try to get something thrown together. If the order doesn't arrive on time we'll refuse the shipment as part of the special notes in the order was that the wedding was the 30th of this month. We should of had these a month ago.

Product never received
I ordered flowers form her on 25 Jun 08 after receiving an email from her telling me that I can pay a rush fee and have a 5 day turnaround. I payed the extra fee and heard nothing from her until 1 week later when she called me to discuss the flowers I wanted. At this point I expressed concern about the turnaround time- she told me that she would finish my flowers the next day and email me the pictures in the morning and as soon as I told her they were what I wanted she would ship them out that day.
I did not get the email and when she final responded to me a week later she told me she would resend the pictures. I don't understand why it took a week to respond to my emails saying I had not gotten the pictures. When I did get the picture the only picture she would provide was the bride bouquet. I sent her an email and she told me that the brides bouquet is the only one they send pictures of and when she sends the flowers the rest of the flowers would be pictured on her website. I told her to go ahead and send them.
One week later I got on her website and live help was available- I typed in that I was really concerned about my flowers as it had now been over 3 weeks since I had ordered them on a 5 day turnaround. The person on the other end told me that my flowers had been shipped out that morning. I asked about my rush fee and was told that it had been refunded to me. I went into my credit card account and looked and there was no record of it. I sent another email telling her that there was no refund on my account and asking for a reference number for this transaction. I was later sent an email with he transaction details-showing that it was not processed until hours after I was told it was already done.
Later that night I got on the website to see if my pictures had been posted- there was one set that could be mine- except the colors were wrong, and it is missing the MOH bouquet. I specifically told her in the original order (which thankfully I kept) and when we talked on the phone that the men would be wearing black suits with navy vests/ties, so we needed white flowers. She came back with a really nasty reply telling me that she did not change the colors of the flowers arbitrarily and this is what I asked for. I forwarded her the copy of the order this plainly stated that I wanted white bouts. I stated on several occasions that this all could have been avoided if she had just sent me this picture before she sent out the flowers as I asked her to. Mistakes are made- everyone makes them, but she will not admit it- even when proof is presented to her.
She continued to be extremely rude that I was getting what I asked for. I continued to ask how we could make this right. She sent me several other emails telling me that I was getting what I asked for. In the mean time I called and talked to my credit card company about my options. They told me that if it wasn't what I ordered and I could show that I could dispute the charge. I wrote her back and told her this and she threatened to file a fraud charge against me for theft of services. I called my credit card company to ask them about this and they told me that there is no way she can file a fraud case against me as long as she does not deliver what she promised, and with the emails I have this would be no problem. In fact if she does file a fraud case against me I can file a case against her for defamation. I wrote her back and told her this and once again asked her to just make this right without having to get the credit card company involved.
She refuses to respond to me anymore. I hope that you are smarter than I was and do a little research before you order flowers from her. She has a terrible BBB rating- and there are several other blogs about problems that have been had by her. It would have saved me a lot of stress if I would have done any research on her before I ordered my flowers.
I have all the emails to prove what I am saying and am not concerned at all about the fraud case she says she is going to file against me. If you have ordered from her and are having problems I hope you kept your emails too- if so don't be afraid to dispute the charges.
