Screaming & Yelling at Anyone
To you customers who think you can yell at anyone in customer service...

We am sick and tired of customers who bitch and moan about everything in life. You think you can yell at the first person you see. Let me teach you a lesson in etiquette:

1. When you have a problem, no matter how big or small it is, don't get pissy with the first person you come in contact with, or anyone else for that matter. It is verbal abuse and won't get you anywhere. We want respect just as much as you do and want to be treated the same as you.

2. Speak in a calm voice stating you have a problem with something and want to speak to a manager.

"The customer is always right" theory goes out the window when you get an attitude with me. We've been lied to by customers just so they get their way. They think by acting like spoiled brats it will work. Think again...it won't! You are being immature and childish. GROW UP!!!

Put your big boy/girl pants on and deal with life. You can't always have it your way! We're not going to kiss your ass just to make you happy. We don't get paid for verbal abuse and being treated like crap. I'm sure many people that work with the public will agree.

Checkout/ Light System
NOTICE TO ALL SHOPPERS. WHEN YOU ARE READY TO CHECK OUT WITH YOUR PURCHASES, PARTICIPATE IN THE "LIGHT SYSTEM". What is the light system? The registers with the lights on are OPENED, not the one you think you see someone standing near, and assume because they are standing near a register they must be opened and available to check you out. If the cashier register light is off, there is a gate blocking you from getting you to the cashier, and you have to ask the question..."are you open?" then the answer is NO. If you are in a rush to check out ... DO NOT HUNT DOWN EVERY ASSOCIATE NEAR YOU AND ASK THEM TO CHECK YOU OUT, what gives you the right to cut infront of other customers who have been patiently waiting to check out? Still not willing to wait? Try Self-Checkout, key word SELF. Scan your itmes and be on your way. A note about self-checkout, it DOES NOT take away jobs, and customers complaining to the cashier who is stuck running the self-checkouts cannont do a damn thing about it. Keep your lack of knowledge about the self-checkouts to yourself and if you refuse to use self-checkouts you are always more then welcomed to wait in line to deal with a "real person."

Just because people still believe "the customer is always right" doesn't mean that every associate you come in contact with you need to treat badly, complain to people with power...managers

Harassment & Verbal abuse
WHERE DO I START?..IVE BEEN IN RETAIL FOR 11 YEARS AND ITS ABOUT TIME SALES PEOPLE HAVE A SAY.WE HAVE PROGRAMMES LIKE, "TODAY TONIGHT", PUTTING US DOWN AND SHOWING CONSUMERS HOW TO TREAT US LIKE CRAP.ITS NOT OUR GOAL IN LIFE TO UPSET PEOPLE AND CAUSE STRESS.CUSTOMERS JUST FORGET THAT LIKE ANY OTHER ORGANISATION THERE ARE PROCEEDURES THAT NEED TO BE FOLLOWED.IM JUST TRYING TO PROVIDE FOR MY FAMILY WHEN I GET VERBALLY ABUSED AND PHYSICALLY THREATENED BECAUSE A LOUNGESUITE IS 2 WEEKS LATE.COME ON PEOPLE ARE YOU GOING TO DIE BECAUSE ITS LATE?<br />
NEXT TIME YOU DECIDE TO ATTACK A SALES PERSON THINK, "WILL HURTING THIS PERSON DO ME ANY GOOD AND ENHANCE MY LIFE?" SHORT ANSWER NO!!!
