Went to this company in Ridley OPark Pa, which is part of AJAX, on 17 Feb 06 to order a Dacor 30" gas cooktop. Asked sales person if item was in stock and was advised it was in a warehouse across the river and that it would be shipped on the 21 Feb. So I placed the order..Said I would be getting a tracking number by e-mail. 21 Feb can and went, no e-mail. 22 Feb. called their customer service, very rude person (no name given) said call shipping. Called shipping no answer. 23 Feb call shipping
again, got recorder, requested info. on item. Waited two hours, no call back. Again called customer, this person was a little better and told me it was on back order and would not be available till the 1 Mar. Asked why did the sales person lie to me about it being in stock, it I knew it was on back order I would have went somewhere else. Didn't know, should have not told me that, etc..Sent e-mail to CEO stating the facts reply stated *will check into and get back to you" Still no reply from him. Rec'd msg
2 Mar that item was shipped and suppose to be a shipping document attached with tracking number, was not there, sent msg back to company to please send it again. No answer. Maybe it will get here, but if you are looking for good service, stear away from this company, bad news...
