unfair managers
I am having a problem with my Manager not standing up to our Shift A supervisor. The Shift A runs everything in our store... it is getting to the point that this Shift A is starting to try to get me in trouble for things that i have not done. This chick is 5 years younger than i am. I have been with the company now for 8 months and i still have not had any training.. all the training i have tought myself..

rude staff
I just had one of the rudest customer service experience (cvs store #714) in a very long time. I had made the mistake of scanning a coupon that wouldn't work on sale items at the self-checkout that immediately locked up. The self-check-out attendant (#0028843?) pushed me aside and claimed that she doesn't see the coupon in the slot. She then just walked away without a word to me to the other cashier at the register who finally came over after 5 minutes and got the coupon out for me but started to walk away with the check-out still locked. I mentioned this before she reluctantly told me to go over to the register counter to be rung up by the first staff member (a cranky old lady who never smiles). She started to ring up my purchases and even told me to push an item an inch to her. She gave me my receipt without a "thank you" or even a word. I asked her for a bag for my big items and she grudgedly got a large bag and put one of my lage item in a bad before throwing it down on the counter. She did the same to my second large item and still didn't say a word to me or even hand me my bags. She only gave me a scowl.

I try not to patronize this store too often because the people there are always mean. If I must shop at a cvs, I prefer to go to the ones in Porter or Davis Square. From now on, I will shop at Rite Aide or Walgreens if I ever need something close to my house. CVS store #714 = FAIL!

Lazy and Poor Customer Service
Saturday, June 18, 2011 store checked out at 6:26 pm
Today my friend and I walked in to CVS store location at 12260 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77072. First, I did not see any fliers at entrance door, I asked the cashier (he looked like INDIAN), Reg. #04, Tran #7086, Cashier #0538065, Store # 5884 to have any fliers and anything for sale today. The cashier replied to me, there is no sale today. I bought limited 5 bottle 2 litters Coca Cola by my CVS Extra Care card and then my friend bought the same amount limited like me by using her own CVS Extra Care card. The cashier said "NO" and because he said "WE ARE ONE HOUSEHOLD" that why my friend could not buy the products. My friend asked for the store manager (he looked like INDIAN too) "WHAT'S WRONG AND WHY?" the answer was "WE ARE ONE HOUSEHOLD"
For example: Their mothers and I went to CVS store at same time and talked with each other, or You and I went to CVS together. Will we be a household members???
They did not have a right to conclude us as one household member when they did not scan the CVS Card or asked for ID because my friend came from California. The cashier refused to sell to my friend and told my friend (THE CUSTOMER) put back the 4 bottle 2 litters Coca Cola at same place that she took when the cashier has spared time and did not do anything. When we left the store the cashier called us to offer the store fliers and I said "NO" "YOU KEEP IT".
Based on those, both did not want to serve customers and they were so rude and lazy. Why CVS hired these type of people in this bad competition economy??? They need to be retrained the attitude toward the customers and the way to work by AMERICAN WAY. BE NICE, GENTLE, and CIVILIZE WAY at least like McDonald or Burger King

Unprofessional Behavior
I have been shopping at the Connecticut Avenue Washington DC CVS (#1354) for twenty years and have been served by the cashier Al for at least five years. Last night I purchased a pair of reading glasses, went across the street for dinner and realized the side piece was sprung and one of the nose pads was missing. I returned to exchange this pair for an undamaged pair. When I presented my receipt and the identical pair for exchange Al took out a magnifying glass and declared I was trying, in his words, to do a "switcheroo". He then accused me of being a theif and asked for my identification. I called for the manager who declared they would not have a damaged pair of glasses on the rack. I took him to the discheveled mess of a rack and pulled a series of broken glasses off the shelf at which point he made the swap. In 62 years, I have never been accused of being a theif for returning clearly damaged merchandise. All-in-all, a humiliating and disgraceful experience for a regular or any customer to be put through.

Full page email "30% off your entire order " Sat. Sun only!
1.after driving 21 miles to store: DOES NOT Include Sale products and a meriad of other products.(Who buys anything other then sale? A good sale is at least 50% less then the normal price how insulting! How stupid do they think we are? This is a Gimick to get us into the store! Why advertize this at all or waste are time!)
2.Products that were marked down rang up Full price! (example asprin 10.99 shelf marked 2.49! and one marked 7.99 which was reduced to 1.99. ) Taking more TIME to get the checker to verify & Not accuse you of trying to get away with something!Watch your reciepts! Why not give a REAL 30% off entire order to their "VAlUEDS CUSTOMERS NO RESTRICTIONS as promised in email???

CVS Self Check-Out
elf Checkout is Bad Business. I have been shopping there for years about twice a week. (The expanded food section keeps me coming) They have everything. CVS Boylston St. Boston Has moved to primarily self checkout. I HATE IT. I spoke politely with the very nice manager who said he would pass it on.
They actually try to beg you out of the "human being" line saying "happy to check you out" Great employees, great store Lousy Idea.
People are voting with their feet. Lines at the real people check-out empty self check-out with nice employees offering help. If Costco opens near here - I'm gone over this one issue.
It is CVS saying ( insert expletive) to its customers. They say its about convenience (theirs) OK so have 1 or 2 not almost all !

Rude Pharmacy manager
Rude pharmacy manager in CVS Hampstead, NC. Explain to me how 3 pharmacists can not count to 30! If you go to this pharmacy count your prescription and hope that they don't treat you like a criminal when you bring to their attention that they gave you 25 pills instead of the 30 prescribed. This is not the first time this has happened at this pharmacy. They need to be investigated or the pharmacists be given drug tests.

IN 2008-2009 I ALWAYS DID MY PHOTOS WITH KODAK.SENT THEM OUT SO I KNEW THAT THE PHOTOS WOULD BE THE WAY THAT THEY ARE SOPPOSED TO BE.ALL PHOTOS WERE GREAT, INDOOR, OUTDOOR ALL WERE FINE, UNTIL I HAD CVS DEVELOP MY FILM.COME BACK IN AN HOUR I WAS TOLD.GET MY PHOTOS THAT WERE TAKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, OUTSIDE, PHOTOS OF A RAINBOW AT 4 OCLOCK IN THE AFTERTOON, SUN SHINING, PLUS ALL 35 OTHER PHOTOS DEVELOPED AT THIS STORE WERE ALLVERY VERY DARK.I WAS TOLD FIRST THAT IT WAS THE ROLL OF FILM, THEN I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE DESPOSABLE CAMERA.THE WORKER TOLD ME TO HAVE THE PHOTOS ENHANCED AND BLOWN UP TO A 5 BY 7.I GIVE THEM THE NEGATIVES FROM MY PURCHASE OF 2 SETS PLUS CD.PHOTOS COME, AND IM TOLD I HAVE TO PAY OVER 2HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THE PHOTOS .I SAID NO, GIVE ME MY NEGATIVES, I WAS TOLD BY THE UNRULY WORKER THAT I CANNOT HAVE THEM.NEVER HAD CVS DO ANY MORE PHOTOS UNTIL MARCH 2011.MY SISTERS DAUGHTER GOT MARRIED.I TOOK 178 PHOTOS OF THE WEDDING THAT WAS INDOOR-UOTDOOR AREA.SENT PHOTOS THRU COMPUTER(BECAUSE IN 2008-2009 I WAS TOLD THAT THE PHOTOS DIDNT COME OUT RIGHT BECAUSE THEY WAS NOT DIGITAL)ALL PHOTOS WERE VERY VERY DARK, I SAT IN THE STORE FOR 2 HOURSWHILE THEY TRIED TO ENHANCE THEM (with no charge like the last time).WHILE I SAT THERE A ROBBERY WAS IN PROGRESS AND ALL THE WORKERS RAN OUT THE STORE AFTER THE SUSPECT LEAVING ME THERE WAITING.NOW COMES THE SHIFT CHANGE.BLAH BLAH BLAH WITH THE 1ST SHIFT AND THE 2ND SHIFT.AUDRY WHO WAS THE SECOND SHIFT SEEMED VERY AGGRAVATED THAT SHE HAD TO ENHANCE MY PHOTOS .SENT MY PHOTOS TO WALGREENS ALL THE PHOTOS WERE JUST THE SAME AS THEY LOOK ON MY COMPUTER.SO I TOOK PHOTOS THAT WERE DONE AT CVS AND WALGREENS, TOOK THEM TO SHOW AUDRY AT CVS THE DIFFERENCE FROM EACH STORE.AUDRY WAS PAGED TO THE PHOTO SHOP, AND I SAID REMEBER ME I SAT HERE FOR 2 HOURS WHILE YOU TRIED TO FIX MY PHOTOS.SO NOW I SHOW HER THE PHOTOS FROM WALGREENS AND THE PHOTOS FROM CVS, THEN I TELL HER I CAME TO PROVE A POINT, I ASKED AUDRY TO SHOW ME THE AFRICAN AMERICAN PEOPLE IN THE PHOTOS FROM CVS(that audry had enhanced2 to 3 times)I PUT PHOTOS FROM WALGREENS AND CVS NEXT TO EACH OTHER AND ASKED AUDRY WHY IS IT THAT I CAN SEE THE AFRICAN AMERICANS IN THE PHOTOS FROM WALGREENS AND NOT CVS.I WENT TO THE STORE TO PROVE A POINT(AS THAT IS WHAT I TOLD AUDRY)ALL SHE SAID IS IF I RETURN THE PHOTOS(WHICH I EXPLAINED TO AUDRY WHILE I SAT THERE FOR 2 HOURS THAT THE PHOTOS WERE FOR MY SISTER WHO LIVES OUT OF STATE)ALL AUDRY SAID WAS I CAN RETURN THE PHOTOS FOR A REFUND AND WALKED AWAY.THIS STORE IS LOCATED AT FOREST AVE. AND DECKER AVE..I WALK TO THE STORE.WHIKE WALKING TO THE STORE AND TALKING TO PEOPLE WHO LIVE ON DECKER, I WAS TOLD BY 4 FAMILYS THAT EVERYTIME THAT THEY GO TO THE CVS STORE LOCATED AT THIS ADRESS THEY ALWAYS HERE PEOPLE COMPLAING( ABOUT THE PHOTOS BEING DEVELOPED)WHILE THEY ARE ON LINE TO PURCHASE THERE PRODUCTS.I WAS TOLD BY AUDRY THAT THE PERSON WHO SENT PHOTOS AFTER MYINE WERE DEVELOPED HAD NO PROBLEM(FUNNY THATS WHAT I WAS TOLD WITH THE PHOTOS OF THE RAINBOW)AS I SAT THERE FOR 2 HOURS, AUDRY SAID THATS HOW THE PHOTOS CAME THRU THE COMPUTER.AS I SIT THERE I CAN SEE MY PHOTOS ON THE MACHINE(which look like the ones i sent)BUT YET THE WORKERS SEEMED TO HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING IT RIGHT.CVS NEEDS TO HAVE SOMEONE COME TO THE STORE AND TRAIN THE WORKERS THAT DO THE PHOTOS.I SHOWED PHOTOS(THAT WAS DEVELOPED AT CVS) TO THE WORKERS AT WALGREENS and all the workers wanted to know why the set from cvs was so dark and unclear.

Hostile work enviroment
Hello,
I am a loyal customer and sibling of a CVS employee. It has come to my attention that there are hostile work disputes. Jarrod Williams is acting childish talking about other employees towards the customers and causing disputes that cause the employees and customers time and money. This has been going on for a while and I have heard of these childish acts being done right in front of me. This is very disturbing, and would like this to be dealt with. I have informed him of what he is dong and has contacted the CVS "Human Resources" and city law enforcement. As if I was going to physically attack him, which I do not intend to do. As well as I have informed him it was not a physical threat. I insist that this be dealt with or corrected, because this can affect your business, customers, and employees. He is an employee of the CVS of Red Oak TX, store #7675.
