FALSE ADVERTISEMENT
THEY HAVE TAGS IN THE STORE STATING THAT YOU GET $5 OFF WHEN YOU SPEND $15 ON COMESTICS AND BODY WASH AND I PURCHASE MORE THAN $15 WHEN I APPROVED THE MANAGER TO ASK TO HELP AND FIX THE ISSUE BECAUSE ID DINT GET THE $5 OFF. HE SAID THERE WAS NOTHIG THAT HE CAN DO ABOUT IT, AND IF I WANT I CAN RETURN MY PURCHASES. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Pharmacy
On Fri. March 4, 2011, my mother, Mrs. BP went to have a prescription filled for a certain diabetic med and the staff in this store was very rude. My mom was treated rudely and I didn't like it. The staff involved was Pharmacy Techs Latosha Rhodes, Sharonda Pittman, and Joshua Herndon. What kind of people is CVS employing? Needless to say, my mom is not getting anything refilled there anymore, what a disappointment. I think that when you are dealing with the public, you should know how to conduct yourself approriately. I never used CVS and now I know why. CVS IS HORRIBLE!!!

Dread going to get my RX
I used to go to Rite-aid but rencently switched to CVS only because i moved and CVS is alot closer to my new home. I wish i never switched!!! My 4 yr old son has alot of health problems (he has state issued health insurance this has nver been a problem anywhere else) lucky that none of them are life threating. I say this because everytime i go there is always a problem getting his RX filled. He takes 4 rx everyday i understand once or twice having problems but not every time. He has to have a new rx every month for 2 of his meds cause they are a controlled substance. He also takes a med that i use the auto refill for (you know the over the phone deal?) well everytime i get there it's not ready!! Isn't that the purpose of taking the few extra mins of doing that so you don't have to take the extra 30 min to 1 hour to get your rx? No that's not the only problem i have i wish it was!! Then i wouldn't be complaining. they also say that his medicade will not allow for his refill on his 2 rx they always say one of two things etheir it's not time (to early) or medicade won't approve it for some unknown reason? So after a few months of this repeadantly i contacted medicade to find out why every month i could not get his ($550.00) med filled. They proceeded to tell me they didn't know why i was unable to get his meds filled everything was fine on there end. Well i contacted the CVS to tell them what medicade had told me then they told me i needed a pa (piror athorization form). He usally needs one every year. Well i got that for them & low & behold guess what still no rx!! Their excuse this time was it was to early to get his med. So I contacted medicade agian to find out why they were saying it was to early to pick up & once agian they didn't know what i was talking about. They told me what i already knew that his meds could have picked up a week ago DUH!!! I explained to them where & what was going on she informed me that i was not the only person to have this problem with CVS. I contacted CVS agian & informed them with the news that i could have gotten it filled a week ago. The lady told me i had to wiat on the head man to get there tommorrow between 9am & 4pm. Well i called about 2pm the very next day & he filled no questions asked. Finally almost 2 weeks later. The only thing they done that was even remotely helpful was they would give me a few pills from the rx to get him through it wasn't enough to do it but it was enough to keep him from being so sick. We would't had to worry about it if they had done their job & filled his meds. I tried to transfer back to Rite Aid during this problem CVS wouldn't let me because if you have an open script you can't!! WTF?? If your not happy no matter what you should be able to. Another thing i have to get a pa form from my doc every month (priror athorization form) when i was at Rite-Aid i only needed one pa a year. So can someone tell me why at one pharmacy i need one a year & at another i need 12 a year!? Im so glad to be back with Rite Aid it's not even funny. Also Wal greens is great they don't give you the run around. I wish you could sue someone for inconviencing your time but u can't i'm just glad that he wasn't hurt by not having his rx like he needed it he was just uncomfotable.

Pharmacy
Idiots, Left on hold for twenty minutes. Called back, they asnswered and said hold on, waited 5 more minutes. I asked them to transfer a perscription from another pharmacy to them. he said i cant find your insurance information. I told him, I had been there 4 times and last time was two months ago. he found my name and what had been filled but could not find my insurance he asked me to hold on again. waited 10 more minutes and finally i hung up. what a garbage pharmacy.

Not honoring there coupons
I was e-Mailed a coupon fron Cvs To save $5.00 on a $15.00 or more purchase my purchase was $30.00 coupon was not expired and They would not except it! So Wasted my ink printing coupon wasted my gas going there wasted my time instore because I refused to pay for anything but my precribtion since they wouldnt take my coupon! And Im considering moving that to Walgreens!

false advertising
I walked into store #6106 at the intersection of Bells Ferry rd and Piedmont rds last night to buy some items. On my way out i saw several signs that read, Coke 2 Liter products .88 each with card. I purchased 11 bottles and my other items and left. I realizes on my way home i had been charged too much, so i turned around and went back. When i asked the salesperson he said oh there is a 5 bottle limit, i asked him to show me where it said that. I showed him that no where on any of the signs did it say anything about a limit and all i wanted was the balance of the money owed to me for the sale price or could i see the manager. When the manager who said his name was Stan Jones came he said sorry but it says 5 limit in our sales paper. I told him i had just came in as i passed by and had not read any sales paper and i thought he should honor the sign he had posted. He would not honor the sign and when i took out my phone to take a photo of it he blocked me and got hostile saying no i was not allowed to take pictures in his store. So i left. I looked for contact info on making a formal complaint but seems this type action is not wanted by CVS and they make it very hard to try and reach someone. So i wanted to print this somewhere just to let the public know how un responsive this company is to CUSTOMER SERVICE or lack there of. This was not a big deal but your problem if you use this company could be. Be warned they do not care about anything except getting your dollars from your pocket into theirs. My whole family has used CVS for years, i will be moving all our prescriptions to Walgreens a total of 9 of them and I nor any of my family and anyone else i can convince will never walk into a CVS store again.

Overcharged
The item had a clear tag of 50% off $16.99. My receipt only took 25% off of $16.99, charging me $12.74 instead of $8.49. I brought it to the cashiers attention, who said the receipt was correct. He said that since the "savings" said $4.25 I paid $8.49, yet the receipt said $12.74. When I added the total, I was indeed charged $12.74. $8.49 was nowhere on my receipt. Came home, called the store, spoke to the manager. He put me on hold to check it out, I got disconnected, called back and the cashier answered the phone. He said "What's the problem, I already explained it to you!" He attempted to argue with me that the amount was correct. I asked to speak to the manager again and plan to go back later this evening. CVS not only was incorrect and overcharged me, but the cashier was ill-informed, extremely rude and very unprofessional. I don't know where you live, but CVS is taking over our city. If this is a sign of what's to come, overcharging customers and rude, ill-informed employees, I will certainly take my business elsewhere.

Manager
I've been a long time customer of cvs. Elated when cvs opened in our neighborhood. Yesterday my daughter and her friends decided to take the community bus for the first time to the smith haven mall. After an afternoon of shopping, took the bus back and decided to go into cvs. As soon as the four of them walked in, the mgr (blond hair, short lady named Bonnie?) demanded for them to check their lil Victoria secret bags in with her. As they walked in further, they all agreed how offended they all felt and decided to get their bags and leave. These kids are honor students, are involved with many community service programs and don't deserve to be treated like some thugs!!! I have been a customer service director for 25 years and deal with people from all different walks of life and from all over the world. I have heard many complaints about her from my neighbors, who do not shop there anymore because of her rudeness. Please either replace her or give her soft skills training. If no changes occur, I will not shop there and will get the word out in my pat meetings etc.

RUDE EMPLOYEES
I went to CVS tonight looking for Multivitamins, I looked in the aisle that said vitamins and couldn't seem to find them. I went to the consulation window to ask the pharmacist because I was in a rush and didn't want to look for an hour. So she says they are in that aisle, one of the girls was nice enough to come out and show me. Then I hear the actual pharmacist say, "what do they think we are going to have signs for everything (Laugh Laugh)". Way to be a rude Bitch, I thought that was what the consultation window was for.
Then I get to the checkout and the kid who was working the register said my signature wasn't acceptable, then flipped the screen of the register to show me...and everyone behind me how unacceptable my signature was. He said, in a cop tone, I'm gonna need to see your credit card again, when I asked why, it wasn't accceptable.

Suggestions-
Let your pharmacist know there is a consulation window for a reason, and to not be a rude bitch to customers. Also, just do yourselves a favor and get rid of the kd working the front cash register...it was just painful.

Poor Service
There have been several times with one prescription that requires my doctor's authorization that they have said they faxed it into the doctor. I never received a call from CVS Pharmacy letting me know that the doctor did not send the authorization back so I assumed he did not want me on the prescription. I requested this refill in December of 2010 so in February 2011 I contacted my doctor's office about the prescription and they had faxed the authorization back to CVS Pharmacy on January 13th; however, I was never notified. My doctor's office faxed the prescription again yesterday and when I called today the pharmacy again said they have not received anything from the doctor, now the doctor office has closed for the weekend and this is a prescription that I need. I asked CVS to call my doctor and was told they could not call the doctor had to call them. I understand this may be protocol for CVS but I feel if you are in the business of serving people CVS needs to make sure their clients get what they need and at the very least contact me to let me know they never got anything from my doctor. This is not the first time this issue has happened and as much as I like using CVS I may be forced to go to another pharmacy to make sure I get what I need.
