Store manager of 7765
The new store manager over at the store on Amarillo Blvd has not been a good choice as a manager. He is not treating the employees there with respect. I love CVS and the work they do but he is not made for the management spot. He makes the employees there do so much work and just threaten them with their jobs or with writing them up. The district manager needs to either change the manager up or figure out something because no employee should be scared of losing their jobs or upset everyday. Plus he should not be speaking about religion in the work place to the employees either. I would not want him as my manager ever. He needs not to let the stress of personal life and work life effect the way he treats his employees unless the employees are not conducting as a person should in a work place.

Wrong Medication Given
I recently brought a prescription to my local CVS pharmacy to be filled for my 2 year old daughter. She was diagnosed with an ear infection and was given a prescription for an antibiotic (Cefzil) by her pediatrician. When I dropped the prescription off the Pharmacy "Tech" (student) informed me that this medication did not come in this particular strength but they would "adjust" it for her. I did not think too much of it when they said this because I know that sometimes practitioners are not always aware of all the strengths that a medication comes in. What I did think was odd was that they were not going to call the doctor to verify this. I proceed to wait at the store for it to be filled. After waiting a while I was handed a box with the medication Cipro in it, also an antibiotic.
I quickly got back in line and waited to question the Pharmicist about this because I was quite sure that this was not the medication that the doctor told me about. The pharmacist was on the phone and was weakly notified that someone was waiting with a question. As I grew more impatient and weary with a sick child waiting I spotted the "Tech" that I originally gave the script to and questioned him about the medication again.
He reassured me that this was the correct medication that the physician wrote for. He still did not call the doctor's office. I left feeling a bit reassured assuming that the tech new what he was talking about and it was checked with he pharmacist. Three days later after taking the medication my daughter woke up with rash on her body. I called the pediatricians office to see what I should do for the rash thinking she was having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. When I told the doctor that my 2 year old was taking "Cipro" he proceeded to ask again what she was taking. The doctor then informed me that "Cipro" is not usually indicated for children under the age of 16. As the doctors office again checked her chart they saw that the script was written for Cefzil NOT Cipro.
They retrieved a copy of the original script from the store to find that it looked tampered with. It appeared that the docotrs handwriting was changed in a lighter ink to alter Cefzil to Cipro.
My daughter is thankfully o.k. I confronted the pharmacist that was working that night and she openly admitted that the wrong prescription was given but asked why would she change the script if she admitted that it was wrong? I believe that the night I was in the store the tech changed the script after I left the store realizing that he made a mistake and wanted to cover it up.
I've contacted the Corperate offices and I 'm still waiting for them to check the security tapes to see if they can see any unusual happenings. PLEASE CHECK ALL OF YOUR MEDICATIONS!!! If you have a doubt MAKE them call the doctors office!!!

Rude Customer Service
Called in for a refilled and the pharmacist was very rude. He identified himself as Andrew. I must admit that the conversation started off rough because Andrew took it personally and every time I asked him a question about my prescriptions to determine which one I needed a refill on, his responses were very sarcastic. He really acted like he did not enjoy his job at all or did not want to be there. When asking to speak with his manager he advised me that he was the manager. I understand that in his type of business it can get rough at times dealing with customers; however the attitude that Andrew displayed was very inappropriate, especially coming from management. I find that it is my duty as a customer to let you know about my unsatisfactory experience.

Bad service
I was a Long's customer for over 30 years, UNTIL now when CVS took over.
(1) They reduced their merchandise by about 20% and introduced CVS brand (which does NOT have my confidence)
(2) Long's had a 24 hr "1-hour" photo service, fill out the envelope and you're on your way; CVS has to input and type out a form, and only when an attendant is there, limited hours.
(4) VERY few magazines now.
(5) The ridiculous "CVS Card" program, which offers little benefit [after spending over $100 I was offered a FREE Chapstick] The program also generates a flood of useless junk email promotions. Why don't they just give a discount to EVERY customer and scrap the card? A lot of elderly folks go there and are confused by the card thing. I presume this is how they can track your purchases. One more thing to carry.
(6) They give you a ton of receipts with coupons, contests, polls, etc. which I usually throw away and don't have time to read.
(7) They installed rubber carpet-tiles and the whole place has stunk like burnt rubber for months.
(8) My ATM Card has problems reading ONLY at CVS. Some clerks can "make" it work, some can't.
(9) The pharmacy operates limited hours. Every time I need an Rx, late, their closed. WALGREENS has a 24 hour Pharmacy.
Needless to say, after so many years, I am taking ALL my business to Walgreens. They also have their pharmacy on a network, so you can get your Rx at another location.

Unpleasant Experience
Last time I was in here, I heard a man in the pharmacy (who was either a pharmacist or something else back there) yelling at the others that worked there. It made my shopping experience horrible and I do not know that I will go back.

Creates a bad environment to work in
CVS creates a bad environment to work in. They TRULY DO NOT care about the people who work for them. If you have a sick child at Home and have to leave-too bad. If you are not a Pharmacist you are just a piece of sh... to them. I used to go shopping at CVS all the time before I started to work there Part Time but NOT anymore. They treat us employees so badly that they are missing out on some of the best customers ever. US EMPLOYEES. The prices are just outrages in the front store and yes, I still work there but I DO NOT GIVE A CRAP anymore. I feel badly for the people who NEED the job to survive. Thank Goodness I do not. By the way, I am going shopping at Walgreens now because I am being appreciated as a CUSTOMER. CVS SUCKS!!!

Customer Service
On February 1, 2010, I went to my local CVS to look around for some makeup. I walk in and see the lady at the cash register as usual and gave her a smile and said hello. She said hello back in a bad attitude so I was like okay. I continue down the aisle. I found some makeup that I wanted to buy so I put them in my pocket because I was on the phone. I can't hold my phone and the makeup and look for more at the same time. Somehow every time I turn around she's right there staring at me. I thought maybe she was look for something. I make my way down another aisle and she yelled out do you need any help, so I said no thanks. She left and I was relieved she was off my back, but 5 minutes later she stares at me again. I felt like I was followed. I felt like she thinks I was stealing stuff. It made me so uncomfortable that I wanted to put back the stuff and leave. The person I was talking to said just ignore and buy it. So I went to pay. As she was ringing the products up, she ask me do you have anything else in your front pocket - I was wearing a hoodie. I was shocked at her comment. I said no because I didn't want any conflict. I was embarrassed because the manager was right there also. Maybe I was somewhat to blame because I put it in my pocket but she still didn't have to make that comment in that nasty attitude. Every time I come in there I see her so I thought she knew I'm not that kind of a person. I have been a customer there for 16 years and after this I'm not going in that CVS anymore.

inappropriate treatment of customers
Are you aware of the unprofessionalism of the pharmacists working at the 1320 Maple Avenue store located in Terre Haute Indiana? Anyone can make a mistake...but this store repeatedly puts CVS reputation in question. A few days ago, I went to pick up a script and was quoted a price of $8.21. I started to pay and the pharmacist asked if I have insurance. I affirmed and he requested my insurance card. Suddenly, the price increased to $10.00. Tonight, this store, after allowing us to wait for over twenty minutes, tells us they will not fill the script because the doctor's signature was not on the script (though it clearly is); Walgreens had no problem filling it. Several days ago, the pharmacist; after offering various lies, said he would not fill the script because not enough time had passed since last script. Who can I contact regarding this repeated inappropriate behavior; who licenses these people? I doubt if I, or my neighbors who went with me, will ever visit a CVS pharmacy again.

Non notification of out of stock drugs
Chino CVS Pharmacy policy to notify patient of out of stock
meds. Excuse of Pharmacist: We make mistakes and someone
did not count inventory and reorder. They did not notify
patient. This is the third time in 8 months OUT OF STOCK.
These are life saving drugs. No excuse. What a terrible
way to treat a cardiac patient. I am pissed. Have complained
to CVS and they do not respond to the complaint from Corporate. Most of the drugs I think are filled by students and not the pharmasists. I have been shorted pills before and have had to count them right on the pharmacy counter.

Awful experience
Just wanted to say that ya'll suck, my husband has been waiting for his diabetes insulin for two weeks!!! My doctor faxed over the prescription and got the fax number from your form, it was the wrong fax number. So who has my husband's personal information??? We keep getting all kinds of excuses, the last one being that it was too soon to refill. The last refill we had was 9/9/2008, we called in a refill on 12/3/2008, come on people, do the math!!! can't ya'll figure out it has been three months since his last order!!! We had to get an emergency shipment through our pharamacy!!! Don't you realize this is his life!!! Guess no one cares if I have a dead husband!!!
