CVS Pharmacy Reviews

Fraud
I brought a prescription into the CVS store on Tuesday, they said they were out, but they would order it and it would be in on Thursday. I knew I had enough until then, so I asked them to order it.

I called Thursday to make sure it was in and they said it was, so I sent my husband to pick it up. He called from the pharmacy a little while later and said it was not there. Supposedly they ordered it but it didn't come in.

I need the medication and cannot skip a day - if I had known that it wouldn't be there I would have gone to another location. I've had many problems with this store and this is the last straw - I will take my business elsewhere.

Bad service
CVS Pharmacy Somerset, NJ. Via telephone recording, would not refill a prescription due to too early for a refill. Today is 12/21/09 and the label says that a refill is available before 11/10/10.

Now I have to go to the CVS where I know they will refill this prescription. This is the second time this has happened. How come the stores records via telephone differ from their in-store records? It looks like the left-hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Awful treatment
Sharon Murray of the Whippany NJ CVS is the worst Cashier I have ever seen. She is racist and gives you attitude and makes faces at Indian customers. She also starts insulting them and talks loudly as is she is the store owner. She also does not listen to the manager and is always disobeying. She does not deserve to be in this position if she cant keep her head cool and treat all the customers equal.

Photo, Horrible Customer Service
I have to complain about a lack of service at CVS Pharmacy in Foxboro, MA where Jay Mills is the store Manager. The incident was with the Photo Department. I did ask the technician's name and it was Katie (though since she had walked away I had to get her name from the shift supervisor).

I used to work as an Assistant Manager at a CVS in Plymouth and was shocked at the utter lack of customer service and rude attitude. I went to the Photo Lab where the technician had pictures running and waited while she adjusted the machine as it was running film. She kept her back to me the entire time though she knew I was there as I was talking to a friend. She then grabbed something and turned her back, and walked out back. I waited and just to make the point remained there to time when she would be back to service me, 12 minutes later Katie came back, glanced at me and said, .. (in her lab coat still working) "Ya?" I literally said "excuse me?" She then states VERY rudely, "What do you want" I think my jaw was on the floor and I said I have pictures, and gave her my name, She did a very loud aggrevated SIGH and looked, then she took my pictures and without saying a word walked down to the one open registed with 4 people in line, dropped them on the counter then walked back, said "they're down there" and walked into the back of the store again.

Amazing. This girl should NOT be representing any store with that attitude. What ever happened to Customer first?

Diabetic Discrimination
I am a brittle type 1 diabetic. I just quit because they accused me of stealing candy. I do eat candy at work when my blood sugars get too low but, it was purchased at wal mart. I showed them that, and they still insisted that i stole from them. Then they made fun of me for being diabetic. I don't expect people to be very smart but, this is ridiculous. This is a pharmacy we are talkng about here. I am furious!!! It was the location on Seymour highway btw...

Harassment
Security in cvs pharmacy store # 3621 profiles and harasses me.when ever i"m in the store which is usually right after work because its 2 minutes away from my house which makes it very convient to shop. The security guard follows me around and tells me i"m not allowed in the store. I've never shop lifted there or anywhere else. I've never harassed any employees or caused any disruptions until recently when I asked for a manager to complain about the situation, and the manager toldme he could follow me all he (the security guard) wants.I find that to be wrong and unjust.

prescription price
I recently went into a CVS pharmacy to fill a prescription on a Sunday and was advised that the co-payment was $ 80.00. Since it was a medication that I had been waiting for due to a prior authorization from my doctor for my original medication and had ran out I accepted the co-payment and paid it. On Monday I contacted my insurance, whose name was on my CVS prescription bottle, who then told me I could get a 2 month supply by mail order for $10.00! When I called the pharmacy to complain they told me to contact Aetna that they set prescription prices for CVS? I find the price difference unbelievable and wonder if this pharmacy is just charging what ever price they want? If it is the correct price I can guaranty that no one I know will go to this pharmacy for prescriptions ever again. And since my insurance company name was right on the bottle why didn't they inform me to contact them for the prescription,

No concern for customer safety
I went to my local CVS store last Friday evening at 8pm, greeting me at the door were three rough looking youths smoking cigarettes and clearly hanging out with bad intentions. As I shopped in the store one of these youths entered in and pushed past me, still smoking a cigarette. I am 6 and half months pregnant and was pushed aside by this thug as he wanederd to the back of the store to chat up and harrass two young girls who were trying to shop. I noticed there was no security guard on duty and suddenly, felt very unsafe and felt bad for the one lady working behind the counter as clearly, the delinquents were running the asylum. I promptly put my basked of goods aside, walked out and went over to Walgreens on Superior and Mayfield were I was greeted by a security guard at the door and where there were no dodgy teenagers hanging about the entrance. I will never enter that particular CVS store again, eventhough I have a prescription account there, I will transefer it to Walgreens who clearly care about the safety of their customers and are willing to spend the money to employ a security guard. As someone who runs a business in the area and cares about her customers I am deeply troubled by this lack of concern and dread what may heppen if CVS continues to disregard the safety and comfort of their customers. I happened to be at the CVS on 92nd and Broadway in New York last week and had a very happy experience, there they have a security guard. There, they actually care about their clientele.

Pharmacy
Everytime I have gone to this pharmacy I have been disappointed by the pharmacy staff. My most recent disappointed was when I asked about the price of my rx ($17 & some change) the price was odd because I have insurance. The tech. ignored my questioned & continued to ring me up, I had to stop her & ask again; her reply was you will have to contact you insurance than she asked me to sign a paper I signed it but said I was not offered a chance to speak w/ the pharmacist and since signing the paper indicates that I am refusing to speak w/ a pharmacist this was odd, she first said I didn't let her finish (she said nothing after asking me to sign) than cont. to say that signing only indicated that I was picking up my rx. NOT ture, this is a pharmacy board requirement to ensure pts are offered a chance to be counseled. CVS EDUCATE YOUR TECHS AND STOP EMBRASSING PHARMACY.

not enough employees and management
I have working at CVS Pharmacy for 5 years and I am one of their managers. When I take my lunch, I have to continue to take care of the customer service calls while I'm on lunch. I think thats against the law!!!
