rude, arrogant, nasty employees
I will never use CVS pharmacy located in Sherman Oaks again! The employees are rude, unprofessional and believe that they have the power to decide whether or not a prescription is to be filled. Even with the prescription from the prescribing doctor and the approval from the insurance company, one arrogant young pharmacist decided that she was not going to fill a prescription. How dare any pharmacist ever intrude upon the doctor patient relationship and think that they can decide to not give the customer his medication. While trying to explain to the pharmacists the details that she should be aware of regarding the medication, instead, she ignores me, interrupts me, she laughs, speaks in her native language to another pharmacist and completely disregards me. This episde took place once I asked if the medication were ready after waiting an hour and a half, and she non-chalantly waved her hand at me and said "another 10 minutes". It was 20 minutes after that interaction that she told me she was not going to fill my prescriptions. The eliticist superior attitude of this particular pharmacist is revolting and disgusting, If CVS is interested in keeping their custormers, they better take a good long hard look at their pharmacy staff and get rid of many of them ASAP. We are the customers, they should do their job professionally and respectfully. The consistent inability to treat any of their customers as equal human beings should be a huge red flag to the future busines of CVS.

Racist Workers
Mary Green, and Alece are the workers for CVS. They are being rude to the hispanic people.
They dont help the customers that are spanish, and when you asked them a question they answer back rudly; as in yelling. Last time they were talking to me like if i were stupid, and that i didnt know any english.

Discrimination & Personal attack
The store manager mistreats most all the Spanish speaking costumers that walk into his store especially if they don't speak English. I don't know his last name but his first name is Chuck & what is most intriguing is he is back by the District manager his name is Tim. He follows them all over the store acting if they only go there to steal at times with no probable cause he has search there personal belongings. I am writing this here to you today not because I experience my self but because my wife is an employee at this store & has experience first hand discrimination towards her.Starting with the district manager Tim and going down to the store manager Chuck. They tell how great an employee she is but when she call sick they don't pay her for her time off even after they make her run around getting doctors note & other proves. Even human resource agree that for such a responsible employee like her self she should have not been giving such a hard time. When other employee don't even call in sick & they get paid for sick time including employees that have not even been employ for three months. That might not be discrimination but it is certainly a personal attack on her. Because she has been complaining on how she is being treated since she move here from their Miami stores.I am hoping that some one could come & investigate because I am having a hard time coping with her coming home crying all the time because of all their mistreatment towards her. And make no mistake about this Chuck does discriminate against all the none English speaking costumers that go into that store especially if they are Mexicans. She does not know that I am writing to right now but I could guaranty you that if come and speak to her she will not be afraid to tell you her self. RUDE-NON-PROFFESIONAL
I JUST CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW A PHARMACY LIKE THIS THAT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR YEARS COULD DO BUISNESS THE WAY THEY ARE. I HAVE BEEN FILLING WITH CVS FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS BUT I'M TO MY BREAKING POINT. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH AND I WILL NEVER FILL WITH THEM AGAIN I AM TAKING MY BUISNESS ELSEWHERE. I SPEND AROUND 2, 000 A MONTH WITH THEM SO I WOULD FIGURE THEY WOULD RESPECT ME AS A CUSTOMER. I DROPPED MY PRESCRIPTION OFF ON THE 10TH AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT ALL. SO THEY SAID COME BACK ON MONDAY WELL I DID THEY DID NOT HAVE IT NOR KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT SO AFTER GOING THROUGH 4 PEOPLE THEY SAID CALL TOMORRO WE'LL GET IT RESOLVED. AS SO I DID THE LADY ON THE PHONE WAS SO RUDE WHEN I CALLED I TOLD HER I WANTED TO PICK IT UP TODAY AND SHE SAID OK WE'LL I NEVER RECIEVED A CALL BACK SO I FIGURED I'LL GO IN THE MORNING WELL WHEN I GET THERE ONCE AGAIN THE LADY THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE IT READY WAS NOT THERE NOR DID SHE LEAVE A NOTE FOR THE MORNING SHIFT TO CALL FOR THE REST OF MY MEDICATION. TODAY IS THE 18TH ALREADY AND IT'S A FRIDAY SO NOW I HAVE TO WAIT TILL MONDAY UNTILL THE REGULAR SHIFT COMES IN AND THA'TS THE ONE THAT MESSED UP IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS HAS HAPPEND ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS I HAVE JUST LET IT RIDE IM DONE WITH IT NOW. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO FILLS AT WALGREENS AND WHEN I GO IN THERE WITH HIM THEY ARE ALWAYS SO PLEASANT AND THEY KNOW HIM YOU THINK BY ME GOING THERE FOR 5YRS THAT IT WOULD BE DIFFRENT. Not following instructions for prescription
I use Cvs pharmacy because that is the only pharmacy my insurance covers. I have been on a new medication for over 1 year now. I also have a card from UCB Parma that gives me $30 off of each refill. Everytime I refill the parmacy has to call UCB to confirm that I have insurance and not on medicare or medicade to receive the discount. Every single time they do not call. Despite telling the pharmacist and techs when I drop off the script, when I come to pick it up..they have not called and try to over ride it in their computer..which I have told them they cannot. They have to call. Once again today went to pick up (my 10th refill) same thing. I told them they had to call..and once again..3 techs and the pharmacist tried to over ride it with no success..finally they called and got the code to get the discount...an hour later I left.

I am sooo tired of this happening ever time! Tried to call the corporate office..of course they are closed..I said if I could go elsewhere I would..but I'm stuck with CVS.

I am pissed off Sandi!!!

Cleanliness
I recently moved to PA. and thought I would transfer scripts from Rite Aid

to you as you are more convenient. I went into your store and the trash was spewing out of the can in front of the store. I asked the manager to clean and he said sure. 3 hrs. later not done. In store today and filthy. I will not do business with such indifference. I suggest you send in your DM on a surprise visit. Or is it him TOO? I have been retail for years and if my store were to ever look that way I would expect to be fired. Your DM and manager are the only front line to the consumer. I just thought does the company even care?

Refused to honor an ad
I went to CVS to purchase a perfect 10 hair color. When I got to the counter, the clerk said, "this color isn't on sale. I said the ad says"perfect 10 hair color, not certain hair colors. The clerk still refused to sell it to me for the sale price. I walked out and will never go back to CVS. The were no signs stating Certain colors, in fact there were no signs at all.It was about 7pm on a Saturday evening. The store manager said they had taken all the weeks sale signs down, getting ready for Sundays sale. When a product is advertised it should state there are exclusions, this didn't.

Bad service
Went to CVS and cut my finger on sharp edge of check out counter. I asked for a tissue. Attendant came back with no tissue but called the police instead. Police called ambulance and asked me why I bled on CVS floor & shopping cart. CVS asked me to leave their store. Police said they would arrest me if i left the parking lot for leaving the seen of an investigation. Called my spouse on cell. Police told me to hang up the phone or they would arrest me for unruly conduct. I AM PISSED. NOBODY CARED ABOUT MY BLEEDING FINGER. I want to sue or cuss or fight or something.

Pharmacy personnel
W hen I go in to pick up a prescription there will be 3 techs standing around & one poor little tech running her butt of f because the others are yelling at her to get the drive thru or get pick up. She is a really sweet little girl and tries very hard to help but it amazes me that the rest of the staff will be stand there doing nothing except gum flapping and laughing and I had to wait for 1 hour to get my prescription filled. I've had enough of this place and am going to start going to Walgreens-- at least they all act like they are being productive. Very poorly run pharmacy!!!

Pharmacist Incompetence & Careless
The pharmacist assistant took my daughters medical card to verify information, then as I watched the Pharmacist (Mark) took the 2 prescriptions and the medical card to complete the transaction. Although I waited in the store for the prescription, upon taking the closed (stapled) bag ...I have learned not to assume they have placed your card in the bag. In this case, my daughter did not open the bag until the following morning...finding the medical card missing. After calling the CVS, the staff insisted they never take county issued cards for verification...which is a total lie! The pharmacist sis not accept nor acknowledge the fact of losing our card or maybe even just tossing it. A card just won't disappear. I recognize Mark's actions as being incompetent and careless. The staff was very non-nonchalant with poor customer service. I will never go to another CVS again! Thanks Mark, the Pharmacist that tossed or lost our medical card!!!
