miss count
I went in to the store on Monday to have my son prescription filled. I returned on Tuesday to pick it up after getting home opening it up I noticed that it didn't have the correct amount in the bottle so I counted the pills and then looked at the label it hand the right amount that was suppose to be in the bottle. So then I called the pharmacy up and they told me to come back and they would fix it, well it was not that easy because she went to saying that they was going to do a audit because it was a control substance not one time did she apologize about what was happening. I think that with it being a control substance the pharmacist should have someone else check their count because you have a hard time getting your medicine until they see it really was they fault. I did get the medicine but the pharmacist that I talk to Tuesday night acted like I had took the medicine out the bottle this need to be corrected before it happens to someone else and I will not be using them any more.

Missing 90 Oxycodone from 150 Pill Prescription.
On October 22, 2010 at 4:54 I picked up my prescriptions from the above
referenced pharmacy. At 5:50 p.m. I noticed my bottle of Oxycodone did not feel right. So I counted my pills and realized that I only had 60 pills and I should have had 150 pills. I immediately called the pharmacy. I explained my situation
to one employee and the employee asked me to hold on for the Pharmacist, then
another person came on the line and I explained the problem to her. The second employee told me that the Pharmacist would count the stock and return my call in 30 minutes. After an hour and a half when I had not received a call back, I called the Pharmacy. I asked for the Pharmacist and told the gentlemen who answered my name. He said, the Pharmacist counted the stock and our stock is not off. I explained the stock had to be off because I only have 60 pills and I should have had 150, I told him I know how to count and he should tell the Pharmacist to check again. He said, our count is right. The pharmacist would not speak to me either time I called and I suspect that Pharmacist would not speak to me because the Pharmacist knows what happened to my pills. If there stock is correct, then they have done something with the paperwork or prescriptions or the medications to make it correct. It cannot be correct if
they are doing everything they should be doing.
I take these pills for back pain and my insurance only allows me to fill a
prescription every 30 days. I would like the CVS Pharmacy and all of it's
staff, especially the Pharmacist investigated. I will not use this CVS Pharmacy again but I would like the rest of my Oxycodone for the month.
I went in to the Pharmacy on Saturday 10/23 to speak with the Pharmacy manager. I explained my situation to her and she said, sorry, we watched the video the pills were counted twice and logged correctly. Our count is correct. I explained that I am not concerned about their count. Obviously something happened to my bottle of pills after it was counted and logged and before I picked it up. She called over some grouchy little old lady who said she personally reviewed the video and I left with 150 pills. I told her that she could not have viewed the video from 10/20 when my pills were filled to the time I picked them up in the evening of 10/22.
I dropped off 4 prescriptions on 10/22 but the prescription paperwork says that 2 of the prescriptions (oxycodone and morphine) were filled a couple of hours later on 10/22 but the cymbalta and soma were not filled until the morning of 10/22. There were 4 bottles in one bag with the oxycodone and morphine paperwork stapled together and the other 2 scrips added stapling all 4 together. Obviously the oxycodone and morphine were filled and were put somewhere, probably in a bag on 10/20 evening, when they filled the other 2 scrips on 10/22 and put them all together, is most likely when they stole my pills. But when I explained this to the Pharmacy manager she was rude, and said, she did had said all she was going to say to me, if the authorities wanted to look into it they could, but she is not going to look any further. She actually accused me of someone in my household taking my pills or me losing them or lying. When I explained that I left the pharmacy, went to Walmart, before I got out of my car I put all scrips in my purse, and zipped the middle zipper, when I returned to my car an hour later after grocery shopping the zipper was still zipped and that is when I noticed the pills were not there.
I sent a complaint form to the NV State Pharmacy Board and called the police. The police were supposed to return my call today to take my report but they have not done so yet.
The Pharmacy Manager should not be a manager if she is not smart enough to figure out that it doesn't make sense for them to fill 2 of the 4 medications, the narcotics, on one day, and fill the other 2 meds, 2 days later, leaving an opportunity for an employee to open the bag of the and remove an already filled bottle. The Pharmacy manager should lose her job and the Pharmacist's on all shifts should be fired and lose their licenses for allowing this to happen.

Wrong dosage info on script
I had a prescription for Zantac filled which should have been 1.5 ML 2x a day. Thank goodness I looked at the directions before I left the store. The pharmacist directed 1 and 1/2 TEASPOONS 2x day. When I questioned it I was told yes its correct, I repeated that it was for my 3 month old son and they said OH MY GOD! I am so sorry. I was given a refund, apologized to about 5 more times and thanked for my patience while they corrected it. It is really upseting thinking about what could have possibly happened to my son if I had not known better and given him the directed dose.

INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES
I have had a couple of incidences with this pharmacy. Their service is incompetent and careless! They gave me someone else's prescription and it is fortunate that I am not blind or incompetent like they are and end up hospitalized or dead from taking someone else's prescription. Please do yourself a favor and do not choose this pharmacy for your prescription needs! Take care.

Never have drugs in stock, pharmacist makes mistakes
Because I use numerous prescribed medications for ailments like Chronic Pain, Anxiety, my Choleserol level, and Mood Control, I need to use this pharmacy, located about 3 miles from me, for all my prescribed medications. In the past, they seemed to be good at providing medications for these various problems, but in the past year I have become increasingly frustrated with them not having medications in stock, and even having the pharmacist make gross mistakes on opiate pain killers that I need for my Chronic Pain. Today, THURSDAY October 14, I drove 15 miles to Lebanon, PA to pick up 2 prescriptions from my pain doctor. One was for Morphine Sulphate 30 mg pills, and the other was for Fector patches to put on the painful area of my back. After going to the Drop-Off Window, I asked the CVS employee how much the Fector Patches would cost. Well, after beating away at her computer keyboard for 5 minutes, she turned around and went to the Pharmacist. She came back and answereed, "We apparently do not carry those patches regularly, but could get some from another CVS pharmacy and have them for me sometime late FRIDAY afternoon! I chuckled and shook my head. Then the employee told me that they also did not have the Morphine Sulfate 30 mg pills in stock either. But, they could possibly look around for another pharmacy to get some later in the Day. I couldn't believe this was happening yet AGAIN, as about 50% of the time I go for a prescription, this lousy store doesn't have it in stock!
Back in August the same Pharmacist made a gross mistake when I took in prescriptions for both Morphine Sulfate CR (constant relief) and again Morphine Sulphate 30 mg (for break-thru pain). Well, she gave me "Oxycontin CR" instead of the "Morphine Sulfate CR", and instead of giving me Morphine Sulphate 30 mg, she apparently gave me Oxycodone instead, but Labeled it as Morphine Sulfate. As I happened to have an appointment with my pain doctor 2 days later, I took the bottles of pills along to him, and he instantly recognized that the Pharmacist had made a bad mistake, by giving me Oxycodone, yet labeling it "Morphine Sulfate." This person is incompetent! As other employees rush around trying to assist customers for their oftn un-filled prescriptions she stands in one spot, and slowly does her thing, making mistakes and failing to fulfill the times requested by customers for their prescriptions. People sit in waiting chairs and complain about the slowness of having their script filled, or wating for a script they had called in on the automated line asking for a 10:00 A.M. pickup, but not being able to get the prescription until an hour later. They are conflicted -- should they wait around, should they go home and come back later, etc. The situation is a disgrace to the CVS Pharmacy chain and some action needs to be taken!
I suggest that the old, slow, and mistake-prone pharmacist be replaced, and that somebody in charge of the Pharmacy there take a hard look at how poor they are at keeping inventory of commonly needed medications, even uncommonly used medications. After all, what is the Pharmacy there for? To provide medications for customers who have an immediate need for a prescribed medication!! It's like a crap shoot going to this Pharmacy in Manheim, PA, as to whether or not the pharmacy has you med in stock, when it is actually available to pick up, and even having to double-check to see that the med being picked up is the right one. Don't lay this problem on the Customer, it is only the fault of CVS Pharmacy in Manheim, PA. As I left today, THURSDAY, without knowing when my prescriptions would be available, the clerk said, "Sorry about that!" There it is! The old, time-worn phrase that a failing business expresses to a CUSTOMER, the one who provides the paycheck and benefits for those at CVS, and receives blatantly poor service in return. Well, I've had enought! I am going to take all my future prescriptions to the Sloan's Pharmacy in Manheim, and give time my business. I have simply had it with this CVS Pharmacy in Manheim, and I can only hope that more and more customers follow me to Sloans.

unfair wages
I have been a loyal pharmacy technician to CVS for almost 2 years now. I have proof that CVS is giving new hired $10/hr. However, I am still making significantly less than this, having a college degree, a perfect evaluation, and a state tech license.
I have talked to the pharmacy manager, who has been very evasive and has told me that he talked to the store manager. Meanwhile, the store manager denied that he talked to her and said she would take care of it.
However, she never did and now she has gone elsewhere.
I talked to the pharmacy supervisor and she said that there is nothing she can do, the pharmacy manager has to put in the raise. However, I should have automatically gotten more than new hires when they decided to give new hires $10 an hour
Warning to potential appilcants to CVS. DO NOT APPLY HERE. It taked forever to get even your yearly raise and even this is a pittance for the hard work and dedication that technicians have to put in (not to mention PCI calls and all these other adherance duties that the compay has added for techs to do with no appreciation whatsoever).

RUDE PHARMICST
I went to this pharmacy in minden, louisiana and asked to see if my son's prescription was refilledand it was not. The lady told me to check back next week and see if they get it in. Then I told her that my son is sick and he cant wait for the meds and he needs it asap. Well she then said with an attitude that i dont have a choice but to wait for it to come in. She was not very nice about it.

Lousy service
I am a new CVS customer. My insurance forces me to use CVS and originally this didn’t seem to be much or a problem. However: On September 5th I went to the CVS pharmacy at the corner of Shute lane and Lebanon Road in Hermitage TN with my list of prescriptions. . I dropped of the list and explained that the original prescriptions were at the Walgreen's Drug Store in Hermitage on Old Hickory Blvd. The pharmacist looked at the list and handed it to a girl working there. I gave her my insurance card and she punched keys on the computer for 2 or 3 minutes. She then told me “the prescriptions would be ready the following day and they would call me when they were ready”. I waited for a call but no call. On September 11th I went back to the pharmacy and after several minutes the pharmacist said they had not filled any of the prescriptions because they did have my name. My name was on the insurance card that I gave them when I brought in the list on the 5th.The following week, I, thinking this lousy service was probably only in one store, I went to the CVS downtown Nashville on 21st avenue. I dropped of the list and explained that the originalprescriptions were at the Walgreens Drug Store in Hermitage on Old Hickory Blvd. They said they would be ready the next day. I went in the next day and picked up the sack and paid for the prescriptions. After I got home to hermitage and opened the bag I found that they had only filled 7 out of 13. I checked with my doctor and found only one of theprescriptions that were not filled had expired. My doctor wrote a prescription for the one that was expired and gave me 4 new prescriptions. I returned to the CVS Store this afternoon and gave the girl the list of prescriptions that they had not filled that were not expired and the four new prescriptions. I and explained that the original prescriptions for those were at the Walgreens Drug Store in Hermitage on Old Hickory Blvd. She said they couldn’t fill these prescriptions without the phone number for Walgreens in Hermitage. I don’t carry the phone number for Walgreens around with me.
This may seem like a trivial little thing to you as apparently it does to CVS employees. It has been a hardship for me because I live about 4 miles from the CVS on Shute lane and Lebanon road, the closes one to me and can’t depend on them to fill myprescriptions . The store on 21st downtown Nashville is 17miles from my home which in its self is bad enough but there I have to park in the back garage and walk over a blocks distance to the store. Not to mention that I am 64 years old, have trouble walking very far and being unable to see the small print in phone book, was unable to look up the Walgreen’sphone number for you lazy employee. It is quite an expense and hassle for me to drive around Nashville looking for a CVS with employees that want to serve me in a proper respectful manor. In closing I just want to say that my insurer is the State Of Tennessee and I will be complaining to the proper department about CVS.
