Ruined my APS roll of film
I took a Kodak APS roll of film in to be developed. When I returned to pick up the pictures, I was told that the film could not be processed on their machine. They suggested I take the film to another CVS location, which I did. That CVS photo dept. told me they could not process the roll because someone had cut both ends of the film off. They suggested I go back to the 19th street store to see if they could do something. I did as suggested, and the Manager there told me he had cut the ends of the film off in an effort to see if they could develop the roll; he offerred to tape the ends back on and I could then take it back to the 2nd store and let them process it.
I took the taped film (loose from the APS container) back to the 2nd store and their photo staff couldn't believe what they saw.. They told me the taped ends would not go thru their machine; in fact, they said if they tried it would most likely cause their machine to break down. they stateld that whoever I was dealing with at the 19th street store was, in their estimation, ignorant of APS film processing. At that point they told me the film could not be devleoped, so I left it there.
This had happened to me previously at the same 19th street store. At that time, it was this past Christmas and the ruined roll of fill was one that included our Grandkids opening their presents. The film could not be developed by them and was subsequently tossed out.
The loss of the film, especially the Christmas film, was bad enough, but what struck me as equally distressing was that the 19th street personnel made no effort in either situation to replace the film or do anything else. Needless to say, I will take all my future film processing elsewwhere.

Managers uncaring and incapable
Oh, what to say about CVS? Having been a long time customer of CVS Caremark Corp. I have seen and heard a lot of things, and until recently I've had no complaints.
Store number 448 in Haddonfield NJ recently rubbed me the wrong way and I will NEVER go to CVS again; me, my family, my friends, not one of them. This particular location has been switching managers more than one changes clothes, but it finally evened out when they got two managers Erin and Lew. The store was great, always stocked, and whenever there was a problem in the Pharmacy they were able to rectify it almost immediately, they were the most caring, and biggest customer service oriented managers I've ever met. However, due to the District Manager (Whom I've witnessed sending the Manager Erin into tears over her outrageous attitude and macho passat) gave them enough trouble they both left.
Recently, a new manager by the name of Wayne and his assistant Tim stepped in. Since then the store has been absolutely TERRIBLE. The shelves are bare empty, checkout candy is non-existent; the parking lot is full of debris and trash. Wooden pallets broken into pieces, floors that look as if they haven't been vacuumed in months, among MANY other problems.
On a more recent trip I noted they were out of the brand of cigarette I buy daily. After a 2 weeks I gave up looking for another week; the day after their delivery I called up the store to ask if they had gotten them in as I was on my way to work and didn't want to stop if they were still not in. Wayne had answered the phone and told me "Sorry, you gotta call back in two hours" I said excuse me can't you just look really quickly for me? To which I got "No ma'am, call back in two hours and our cashier can look for you when she gets in.
I've also seen Tim on his cell phone multiple times, as well as using vulgar language on the sales floor. I'm sorry CVS, but the fact that you can hire such incompetent people shows me nothing but the fact that you don't really care about your customers, only the money going into your pocket.

Customer service sucks
Yesterday I went to CVS to take a over the counter medicine, I had a quick question with the pharmacist and I was waiting at the consultation counter. Three other assistants of the pharmacist asked for any help at three different times but asked me to wait for the pharmacist, but the pharmacist was looking(acting) so busy looking at the computer and she gave a look at me and again started looking at the computer, I was waiting and waiting and she was least bothered about me and the worst part is she was attending customer phone calls and answering their questions but did not get time to answer the question of the customer who was physically present. So yesterday was the last day ever to that store and that store sucks big time.My advice, dont ever go to that store

Poor Service
I'm very upset about the quality of care I received just today at the Pharmcay at your Rego Park Store.
I consulted with a pharmacy tech regarding a prescription for an antibiotic medication for my 4 year old son who had just completed surgery that same day. I asked her whether they had the medication and she said they did. The prescription was then given to the pharmacist to fill. I informed them that my son just finished surgery and that I would wait for the medication. They took over an hour and still did not call my name. Meanwhile the pharmacy took care of anyone else that came. I was standing right in front of the counter. I voiced out my frustration and only then did the pharmacist - Mariya Ibragimova, took my prescription cards. And after the medication was approved, she then told me they did not have the medication.
I am very upset because I made sure I asked beforehand whether they had the medication, that I made sure to let them know that I would wait for the medication because of my son's predicament, and I made sure I was fully visible to the pharmacy staff as I waited. AND STILL I WAS UNABLE TO GET THE MEDICATION.
I asked for her name and she wrote down her first name. What good is her first name to me? I had to ask for her last name. And she did not show me her ID.
I am very upset because my son was waiting at home after surgery, in pain, and they just did not care.

Priscription Shortages
This store is known for not giving customers the full amount of medication prescribed by their doctor. I was given only ten (10) of the fifteen (15) pills required by my prescription. Each time my sister and I take a prescription to this drug store we have to count them before leaving the store to ensure all of the medication was provided. I don't know if this is a CVS practice or if it is just this one store but I'm going to change my pharmacy.

Mixed prescription
I had a prescription filled out and to my shock it was a mixture of two different types of medications.
1) what My script was called for was 10MG IC Loratadine.
2)What I received was Loratadine & Lorazapan.
When I went to the Pharmacy and showed them they were the ones who told me it was Lorazapan. They also did apologies and refilled the script for me but I had already taken some over the weekend (Vacation) and got very sick from it. This was very careless and dangerous I was told. I am very upset on this matter and feel that more precautions should be taken when filling out these prescriptions.

Employee misconduct
I was in the store on 5-1-10 at 7:15pm(approx). I had purchased 3 food items, 9 pack paper towels and 2 hair dyes. When It was my turn to cash out, I asked the cashier if I should separate the food stamp things from the cash because I also had a CVS dollar off on my entire transaction. He assured me that I could ring it all together and the computer would direct the money and foodstamps to where they should be taken off. He rang the items, He told me to do EBT first, did it, then I handed him the CVS dollar coupon, he scanned and said "Mam you are going to have to use this another day because I did it wrong." I said wait a minute why cant we just void it and start all over because the coupon expires today. All of a sudden he says"you know what Im not taking this shit today, he'll take you over there". Meaning that the cashier beside him would ring me up because he was irritated. I said wait you have already began taking the money You charged the EBT card for the food stamp purchase. If I go to him(other cashier) I will have been charged twice. How can we find out whether or not its been cancelled. He looked at me and said "I dont know what to tell you that's not my job" I then asked for manager he told me he wasnt there. I said you have to help me if I leave here and I am charged twice that's not fair. He said You mean to tell me you're fighting for foodstamps and a dollar coupon? Here Ill give you a fucking dollar and fuck the stamps there free food anyway." I then told him why was he talking to me like that and that I didnt deserve it. Also i asked why he was risking his job to be so rude? He told me at least he had a job because of his job I was able to get foodstamps. There is a ton more rude dialogue. I think you get the idea. First of all. I go into CVS on Centre street at least 3 times a week. Never had a problem. Second of all I am a licensed medical assistant, as well as Phlebotomist and EKG technician. I dont think I need to explain that or explain why I have foodstamps. They happen to be for my patient and I have her permission to act on her behalf. I have never been so badly treated. Then when I went to the other cashier it was clear he was his friend. He told me I made it worse by talking to the young man. I asked if he could give me a customer complaint number he told me it was on my receipt. When I got outside, It wasnt on there. Just the store number. I called on Sunday 5-2-10 and spoke to a shift leader that was going to have manager call me. TO this date 5-8-10 NOONE has even called me to apologize or try to offer me a coupon or gift certificate or nothing. I dont think this young man should be able to work there. I was torn apart at CVS because of a cashier's lack of interest in customer service.

WRONG MEDICATION GIVEN
Had a prescription called in for antibiotic for strep throat. Went to pick up medication, and started taking this. This was on Wednesday, on Monday called doctor to complain about not getting better, read the prescription bottle and found out that CVS gave someone elses medication to me. The medication given was for high blood preasure and water retention and has warnings concerning not taking if you have liver or kidney which of course I have.
Really not a very dependable company anymore for service you can trust, and the side effects are hitting hard from the wrong medications.
