Warning do not buy from them
I purchased an X58 system from cyberpower.com (Invoice# 00665214) I ordered this system 2/9/11 at the time there was suppose to be a free upgrade to DDR3 1600, I received DDR3 1333. After receiving (2/25/11) and opening the box I found that three of the four fans that were included in the X58 as advertised on line for base unit had been removed, a scratch on the inside window from the tubing for the water cooler, and after paying for Pro Cable Wiring their was a wire hanging down unattached to another cable laying in the bottom. Also the video card was not the name brand in ordered. During set up, for which there wasn’t any of the usual setup information, I could not find Keys for Windows 7, DVD9 or Office Starter. Upon operation, a problem with sleep mode occurred, were as a memory problem that causes a "blue dump screen". After calling Tech Support several times and having several call backs this issue could not be resolved. The tech person was supposed to give me a call back (02/28/11) evening. It is now 9am west coast time (03/01/11) and I’m here looking at my blue screen as I type this on the 8Yr. old (built by my son) PC that the X58 was to replace. Tech support was very nice and was giving it a good try to fix the problem, but, I'm thinking they can't thus, no call back. I spent most of the day trying to contact Cyberpower. Finally the phone was answered by a sales rep. that was totally indifferent and uncaring and indicated that the problems I was encountering were my fault. At this point in time I guess the only thing left to do is pack it up and send it back for a refund. I have requested a RMA over your website and have restored my 8 year old PC as the primary. I feel that since I paid to have cyberpower ship the X58 to me, that it is only fair that cyberpower send me a postage paid shipping label so I can ship it back. And believe me I’m not requesting this in jest.
I was willing to over look the SDDR 1333, the scratch, the wiring, the lack of key codes for DVD9 and Office Starter if they could be provided, but the accumulation of problems and lack of help, especially by the sales department has brought us to this sad conclusion.
I received the RMA but they refused to PAID RETURN POSTAGE. I will be launching an all-out Cyber warning about Cyberpower.com campaign.

poor quality TERRIBLE customer service
Took 29 days for computer to arrive. Numerous phone calls and emails on status were never answered. I finally left a message that I wanted to cancel the order unless I heard from them in 2 days. It shipped the next day. Came missing keyboard and one other part which were backordered.
Sound card does not work. Back gaskets falling off. Its a $2800 machine. Came with zero documentation.
Have been trying for 2 days to contact tech support. Either no answer on the phone or they say leave a message. They don't call back. Used their on-line email for tech support. They don't respond.
This is an amazingly bad company with respect to customer support.

total lack of testing
I purchased a computer from Cyberpower on 1/26/10. When I received it there was no sound and after being on for several hours the computer locked up and could only be turned off at the power strip. I called and actually got a human being who was very nice and told me to return it. When I didn't receive any communication from Cyberpower as to when I would receive the computer I emailed them several times and got the oddest replies. They said they were testing the hard drive then the sound card and finally the motherboard. They looked as if they were written by someone with bare, bare understanding of the English language and even less understanding of computers. After 2 months I got it back and again there was no sound. I sent them an email to which I knew they wouldn't reply so I went out and bought a new sound card which apparently was the problem because I now have sound. What is very disturbing is that when I run spyware and malware checks I find several infections. I have never, ever in 15 years of owning a computer had any infections. Makes me wonder what the heck they did to it and where they were "testing" it. Do not go near this company.

defective laptop
I bought a laptop, which started losing functionality almost immediately. First the touchpad, then the whole USB
system. I called customer support, and they told me I had to reinstall the OS before they would do anything. I went
through several cycles of calling for support, and reinstalling Windows (without any assistance from them). Then I
was informed that my warranty had expired, that it was a bad motherboard, and that I would have to send it back
to the manufacturer (they only packaged the device), and for a hefty price.
