Terrible customer service!
I tried to order a computer via phone; told to go online. I did and was contacted by a sales rep, yelling, for his mistakes with my address. The computer came; didnt work. The fan was bent, power unit buzzed loudly and motherboard didn't work.

Tech support said warranty covers service and parts, not shipping; ridiculous for an internet based firm. They also repeatedly said that even though only the motherboard and power-supply were defective, and I was willing to swap them myself, I must send the entire machine. I paid $60 to mail it.

Over 2 weeks, the broken power supply and motherboard were replaced and the computer shipped back - not packaged well (no damage to the shipping box) but when I opened the, now dented, case the video card and motherboard were broken. 4 calls and 3 messages later (no one EVER got back to me) I was able to reach someone who said leave a message. Days later I reached someone else; after I again said I could make the changes myself, fearing more damage, I was again repeatedly ordered to send the entire machine.

3 weeks after I sent it back the 2nd time I called many times to reach someone, on hold for another 2+ hours and was told to send an email to the disputes dept. I later received an email saying the video card was out of stock. I then emailed disputes; over a week later still no response.

The computer later arrived in the same previously damaged case (not replaced) which is now extremely scratched and dented. And THE COMPUTER STILL DOES NOT WORK. Turning it on gives very loud noise and no picture / or windows come up. Same mess = many calls, 'leave a message' and only get techs who say mail it back again - literally speaking over me very nastily and saying it is my ONLY option - even though it has not worked twice now - they actually hung up when I said this. All requests to speak with supervisors are treated with disdain and contempt.

This is by far the worst company I have EVER had to deal with. The quality of the parts and system build are subpar and Customer 'service' is nonexistent. I am now forced to send the computer back a 3rd time or simply throw it out.

Terrible Product and service
I bought a computer from Cyberpowerpc 12/2010. 5 months and 3 returns later I still do not have a working computer.
I first tried to order via phone and was told to go online. I did and was contacted by a sales rep - where he yelled at me - for his mistakes. The computer came - and did not work. The main fan was bent, the power unit buzzed so loudly when any games played that I could hear it over music and the motherboard did not work - when all ram slots were filled, music and movies skipped and froze and windows crashed constantly.

Tech support said that service and parts are covered by the warranty, not shipping - which is ridiculous for an internet based company that must ship everything. They also said that even though only certain parts were defective, and I was willing to swap them out myself, I must send the entire machine. I said I could handle it but was repeatedly ordered to send the whole computer - at MY expense. I paid $60 to mail the computer back.

During the next 2 weeks, the defective power supply and motherboard were replaced and the computer was shipped back - but not packaged well. With almost no damage to the shipping box, I opened the case to see both the video card and motherboard were visibly cracked and the case was dented. 4 calls and 3 messages later (no one EVER got back to me) I was able to reach someone - who took a message. Days later I was able to reach someone else; after I again said I could make the changes myself, fearing more damage, I was again ignored and repeatedly ordered to send the entire machine back.

3 weeks after I sent the computer back the 2nd time I again had to call MANY times to reach anyone, was put on hold for another 2+ hours combined (45 mins on one call) and was just told to send an email to the disputes dept; over 2 weeks later and no response.

In the meantime, the computer arrived in the same previously damaged case (not replaced) which is now EXTREMELY scratched and dented - as there was again minimal packing foam around the computer - it is now dented in about 1.5 inches on the side where the motherboard is anchored! AND THE COMPUTER STILL DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. Turning it on results in very loud noise and no picture / or windows come up.

Same ridiculous treatment - dozens of calls just to leave messages on voicemail or with someone or send emails - none of which are ever responded to. The highest level of staff they ever allow customers to speak with are techs - who only say to mail the computer back.

The most recent tech I had to deal with was literally speaking over me very nastily (common practice on their part - if you can even reach them) and saying it is my ONLY option - even though it has not worked twice now - and he actually hung up when I said this and that I wanted to have a new build put together and sent while I sent this one back. I even took almost 20 pictures of the damage and bad packing and sent them to the tech - who REFUSED to look at them or listen to my concerns about mailing the computer yet again. He actually said "I dont need to look at them, im talking to you. I have no proof that you didnt do the damage yourself." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Then he actually threatened me - YES THREATENED ME - on 2 separeate occassions saying that they 'do not care' what I want and that if I 'chose to go to court over this [I] will lose.' And all requests to speak with supervisors are treated with disdain and contempt.

This is by far the worst company I have EVER had to deal with. The quality of the parts and system build are subpar and Customer 'service' is nonexistent - it is more like customer hatred and antagonizing. I am now forced to send the computer back AGAIN or simply throw it out. DO NOT USE CYBERPOWERPC.

Utter lack of responsibility
I ordered a desktop PC back in October 2010. The machine was assembled correctly with all the parts I ordered. However, the unit seems to not have been tested at all, since the internal card reader with model MR-104-101 12-IN-ONE INTERNAL CARD READER 1 was mulfunctioning. Upon running the PC, I soon found out I was getting random BSODs on Windows 7 64-bit.

I tried to contact the company's technical support but I could only reach their voice mail to leave a message. Realizing that it was taking too long to get help I tried to contact the sales person who sold me the unit. She was accommodating and finally managed to put me through with their technical support. I discussed the BSOD problem with a technician who without requesting any minidumps or any other diagnostic proof from the machine, he identified the issue to a faulty hard drive who then proceeded to ship a replacement part.

I replaced the hard drive but the BSODs were not fixed. Since then I got another 20 or so BSOD occurences all random and without any clue. So I tried to contact CyberPowerPC again on multiple occasions leaving messages and sending emails to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] but I never got back any reply.

The BSODs are random and often result in loss of work. I paid $1800 for a unit which is essentially crippled and the company who sold me the unit betrayed my trust. I feel like a sucker having paid so much money and got nothing in return but trouble.

computer
Purchased compter last Feb 2009 and it has spent more time being repaired at additional cost to me, than I have used this product! Customer service is horrible. Run don't walk from this company. BBB is next stop!!!

Rip off company
I bought a custom $2000 Laptop from them in 2005 for video editing, it crashed constantly. I sent it back to them for repairs ( I paid the $35 postage! )... I don't even think they opened it!!! I was then in a major car accident and it was put in storage. When I brought it back out, I tired to find out WHAT I could do to fix it as the crashes pointed to a bad graphics device driver... well, there is no compatible drivers for this card and the manufacturer doesn't even give info out on this laptop. Cyberpower wouldn't help me find out how I could replace anything inside... just kept saying I should buy a new one!! Very rude too. I am totally disgusted with them and vow to spread the warning to others!!
