just want to cancel my cell phone plane

I have more information about this company. After calling them (it wasn't easy to get through--one needs to follow an elaborate and slow phone tree and wait for pauses to try to get to a customer service rep)-and putting a STOP on the charges to my cell phone of $9.99 each month, I did receive a check for 9.99 from this company. But this month the charges continue. This time I called AT&T. They showed no sign that I had put a stop on the so called "service" but the rep. was very helpful. She assured me that the money would be refunded by AT&T and she put a stop on it on my service. And she offered me a purchase blocker service for free on my phone. This means I have to enter a pin number to make any purchases using my cell phone. I have never used my iPhone to make purchases on line so this was not the issue. But I accepted it becuase I think it may help in the future if I get other unauthorized charges.

These fraud companies hope that people don't often check their elaborate phone bills. The charges are buried in the bill and are hard to detect. I almost didn't check it because I assumed the problem was taken care of. WRONG.

I see several TV stations and attorney general offices in other states are investigating this company, but nothing seems to happen. Please report your experiences at least on line to help others deal with the problem.

Thanks AT&T for helping me resolve this issue, hopefully once and for all. I have read on other complaints about this company that some wireless service companies have not been so helpful.

All of a sudden, I found a charge from this company on my cell phone bill. My phone is only for energency use. I don't use text and rarely recieve text. I did not authorize this charge. I never even received a text from them, how can they charge me? I called my mobile company (AT&T) and they said they would remove the charge for me. Still I don't understand how a company can just do that!
