They never shipped my item or responded to my requests for help
I ordered an item on 5/15. After numerous calls, they said it would be shipped on 5/28. When it wasn't, I called. I had to call 3x and none of the staff returned my calls after they said they'd find out the status. Every email I sent was responded to with a survey only. When I tried to cancel, they told me I couldn't; that I had to get confirmation from the mfr that they hadn't shipped. The manufacturer never returned their calls apparently either. I finally was able to cancel on 6/3.

Shady practices and terrible customer service
Unfortunately I ordered a bed from Cymax. I waited a month for it to arrive and it was damaged. They refuse to accept a return unless I pay the shipping and a restocking fee. A restocking fee for damaged goods! I guess the plan is to resell it to another unlucky buyer. So I bought a bed, they sent me a broken one and I am supposed to pay them and get left with nothing. I might as well have just flushed my $ down the toilet!. DO NOT buy anything from Cymax! They need to be put out of business for their shady practices and their terrible customer service.

Terrible & Unresponsive
I ordered a product but soon realized the description I had seen was incomplete on the type of material. I wanted a video rocker chair with a metal frame, not wood. Turns out, the item I saw was on a different site. So I called customer service and asked if the chair I ordered was made of wood or metal. The answer was not immediately available. I specifically said I did not want to proceed with the order if the chair was made of wood. I wanted metal. The customer service agent said she would find out from the manufacturer and email me the answer.
The next day, I receive an email saying the product was made of wood. I replied saying I wanted to cancel my order. A few hours later, I receive a shipping notification on the order. I spent three days contacting the specific customer service agent's email and the general customer service email. Response was general and sporadic.
I spoke with a supervisor yesterday who said once a product ships, I had to follow the general shipping policy, which includes paying for the initial shipping fee (which was free with the order, but now I was going to be charged!) as well as the return shipping costs. However, as a courtesy, he would waive the 20% re-stocking fee. I insisted that I was perfectly clear before the item shipped that I did not want to proceed with the order if the chair was made of wood. The supervisor continued to repeat the same speech of how I was responsible for the shipping costs since the product was already en route.
To make a very long story short: Do not deal with this company. I begged and pleaded for someone to help me. No one did.

Product cannot be assembled, company will not accept responsibility
Bought Twin platform storage bed from Cymax Stores on line. Bed manufacturer was Prepac. Bed arrived and when attempted to assemble found that predrilled holes were too large to hold locking nuts. Company suggested I put on side and hold nuts in place until screw placed. This was ridiculous because nuts were in center of three way bed frame and could not be placed on side. They refused to accept this even though I emailed their instructions with diagram showing it could not be done. Then Cymax refused to refund without 30% charge for restocking because Prepac would not accept their responsibility. Both companies should be avoided at all costs.

Refuse to cancel my order
First I ordered an item and only found out that it was no longer available becauses Paypal notified me. then I re-ordered a similar item. After 5 days I called to find out the status. Only then did they tell me the item was not in stock and they didn't know when it would be available.
I called customer service to cancel. the next day they said it was only a request and refused to cancel. I was then told that once it was delivered I was to return it and pay a restocking fee. This is a horrible company. They should not be in business.

Ordered and not received
I place an order on 1/26 for a 5 piece table and chairs with a Cymax.. They charged my CC the day after I placed the order. Two weeks later I had no shipping information even though the web site said expect shipping information in 3-5 days. I contacted them and they told me it was back ordered and would not ship until late February, so I asked that I receive a credit on my card until it shipped. They refused.

Complete Savings Scam
In December I ordered two X Rocker Chairs from these scammers at Cymax Stores and low and behold two weeks later I began to get billed for $12.00 a month on my credit card by some company named Complete Savings. Do not order anything from Cymax Stores they are not to be trusted with your credit card info.

Charged CC on Back Ordered Item
Ordered Table and chairs from on of thier online stores. The next day they charged my CC. Two weeks passed and I had heard nothing so I called them. They told me that is was backordered and would not ship till late late the next month. I asked for my CC to be credited until the item shipped they refused. I have filed a complaint with the Vancouver BBB http://vi.bbb.org/. I suggest you do the same.

Don't buy from them
Don't buy from these people.. This company has a very poor business model, poor resources and clearly does not care about the consumer...very poorly run and mnaged.
I ordered product from them 5 weeks ago, was told I'd have it in two. I was never notified, no communication, nothing concerning my order (fact is, according to them, it was back ordered..they just didn't let me know).
To get them on the phone is a 30 minute hold time (three times now). They could not even verify status of order once I did get them and could only submit a 'order cancellation request' I was told I'd have acknowledgement concerning the 'request' in 2 days tops...five days later...no response (of course)...called again...they did cancel my order, but decided not to refund my money. Now they can only forward my request for a refund to a manager to 'review'. I am told they will get back to me in the next few days (I seriously doubt that will be the case)
Currently the item I purchased is now the marquis item on the website I purchased from. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! There is a good chance their stock levels are misrepresented or that you'll have some type of trouble with your order...these people are the reason why folks fear ordering on the internet.

Delayed Shipment and Missing Pieces
After being told from the sales rep that my order would ship in 8-10 days, I waited more than 4 weeks before calling...only to learn that my shipment was on backorder and this was not communicated to me nor was that anywhere on my status page via my logon. Then, after waiting another 4 weeks, my daughter's new bed arrives. Only...the footboard and posts are missing! So, we have half a bed sitting in the middle of her room. It has been two weeks since the bed arrived and we still have no response from Cymax regarding where the footboard and posts are or if/when we will receive them.
I find this very unacceptable. I called today to speak with a supervisor and they won't even let you speak with one.
They are a disgrace.
