I purchased a Daewoo Refrigerator, Model # FR-094R (SS) sometime in September of 2009. This is a very small, no frills efficiency unit, similar to the type you may find in hotel rooms. It requires periodic manual defrosting. I dug out the instruction manual to perform this task properly. I did not understand some of the terminology so, I decided to call the customer service number provided in the booklet. When I called, I thought I had misdialed because the first thing I heard was female heaving breathing which started to escalate -- I immediately hung up the phone. Dialed again carefully and checked on the LCD to be sure it was accurate and got the same response. Anyway, if you have the following number for Daewoo in your manual(s), please be forwarned - especially if you've children who may decide to be "helpful" etc. The number is 1-800-553-4355. I will certainly be calling Costco tomorrow - this is quite an odd thing to have happen!
