Greetings,
After parking my new Daihatsu Serion, the caught caught fire under the hood area. After extinguishing the fire which was controlled quickly by the workers of the store where I was in, I found that most of the cables and the radiator fan were completely melted.
I took the car to the agent who after a week of crime scene investigation, claimed that a piece of cloth might have passed through the front bumper and sticked to the exhaust oven and made the fire. Although this doesn't make any sense, I asked for a written report which they completely refused.
It's so obvious that the care caught fire because of an electric failure, since the fan run automatically after the car stops.
Now the car is under warranty and fully insured and Daihatsu Egypt insist that this is failure that they don't cover and not responsible for. If I am to to agree with their reason, am I supposed to clean the roads before I pass with my Serion ?????
