When in need, trust dial direct to let you down.

Yesterday (22/01/2011), when my car came to a halt, the first people l could call, were dail direct (which l am insured with and pay my instalment, never defaulting), as when l signed up, l was told l have *road side assistance* 24 hours.

Only yesterday, at 8pm, stuck on a dark on-ramp onto the N1 north, was l adviced they will *not assist me* of l didnt have **cash-up front**.
In a moment of desperation, stuck in a very unsecure place, when you need your insurance most!

The call centre agent, who assured me she would call me back in 15 minutes, left me stuck by the side of the road with no care in the world and kept going on about procedure and how she can not help me at the moment and will see what she can do...to no avail.

Thanks to SAPS, because as a police vehicle was driving by, the observed l was in a very unsecure place and in need of assistance. At that moment, they also listened in on one of my telephone conversation as l called dail direct, desperate at that moment, and how l was categorically brushed aside and offered no assistance at all.

Thank you dail direct for making it a point you never skip my deduction of almost R1000 and never being there in my times of darkest need. Thank you for putting my life at risk and making me realise how insignificant l am to you. If it wasnt for the kindness of a passer-by, who towed me home well after 1am (after 5 hours of waiting), l dred to imagine what would have happened.


l hope all your clients are aware of what they sign up when they join you, because this is not the first time you have let me down and l am assured l joined the wrong insurance company.
I also hope your agents sleep well at night with the kind of in-human service they render!
