On April 4th, I called Dallas Metro Appliance at (972) 896-0814 and (972) 961-7817 and spoke with the owner Richard Aragon. My GE refrigerator was not defrosting, causing it not to cool. He replaced the computer board and was charged $225.00. A day after, the issue was still present so I called him again. He said he will check it that same day. He didn't come so I called him again the following day. He finally showed up after the 4th and he noticed he didn't connect the thermostat correctly so he said everything should be fine.
The next day the defrosting/cooling issue was still present so I called him again. He said he will replace the defroster/heater part for free because of the inconvenience I was going through. He promised to get it replaced for me on April 18 or 19th, the latest. He did 't show up nor notified me that he won't be coming. I called him on the 19th and he said he will do it on the 20th. Again he didn't show up nor contacted me. He was now avoiding my calls and giving me the runaround. He finally said he will come to fix it on 4/22/11. As usual, he never showed up nor contacted me.
As you can see, since April 4th, I have been trying to resolve this issue with Richard. I have been very patient and he keeps promising to come and he does not show up.
In short, he gives you the runaround. You will get immediate help when you 1st contact him so he call collect. If things do not work out, forget it. You won't see him again nor hear from him. He hides behind his phone. ZIG Wylie, TX
