I bought DANE ELEC product, and I had a lot of problems with it!
I used “So Ready” 500Gb Dane Elec to store all my data collected during the last 5 years. I stored all my emails (professional and personal), musics, pictures, texts etc.
And I lost everything! Everything!
I had to pay to send this hard drive back to Dane Elec, but they were not able to recover any data. I lost everything.
This product was in warranty, and they sent me a new one. But because of their mistake, they sent me a invoice as a new one, and I had to pay again the taxes to import it..
I spent US$ 111 to send it back to US (they did not pay me the freight costs!) and to pay for the second time the taxes.
They were in contact to me to pay me back the US$ 111. I gave them instructions to transfer this value to my account bank in Portugal. I live in Brazil, but I have a bank account in Portugal (because I have lived there for 7 years). They decided to send this money via Western Union to Portugal instead of Brazil (they though I was living in Portugal, and did not asked me). But I could not pick up this money, because I live in Brazil !
Now THEY picked up this money back, and they do not answer my messages anymore.
I lost all my data collected during 5 years, and I lost US$ 111.
All I ask is my US$ 111 back. I have already informed my bank account and I can do it again if necessary to transfer the money. But they are ignoring my messages.
It is very easy to ignore a customer complaint. But I will not give up. I have my rights
