False Complaint:
Thank you for forwarding to this office a complaint fled against Empire Transportation Worldwide Corp. with headquarters in Pensacola.

We have investigated this complaint and have determined that it has no basis in fact.

(1) Mr Jackson placed an item for transportation on USHIP.com and we placed a bid for this movement;
(2) Out bid was accepted as a shipment to be picked up in Hayannis, MA 02601.
(3) Hayannis Port is an island with a ferry service, the item was left at the dock without any paperwork and we had to hire a driver to pickup the Caterpillar 277C and make arrangements to transport the item to Canada.
(4) Because Mr or Ms Jackson could not locate our web site, they assumed that we were illegitimate and altered the delivery directions to Montana.
(5) We are a new company and had not as yet constructed our web site, he went off the deep end.
(6) Empire Transportation Worldwide Corp is a duly authorized Freight Forwarder licensed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under License FF9920 (see attachment).
(7) An authorized Freight Forwarder are not required to have a DOT or MC number.
(8) Empire Transportation maintains a $100.000 cargo policy.
(9) The shipment was delivered in good condition at the diverted destination.
(10) Mr Jackson has posted a complaint on a web site that is causing us great difficulty.
(11) Legal action is being considered for damages to our reputation and will cause us to lose much business.
(12) Empire contracts with authorized motor carriers to transport items bid on Uship.com that have been purchased on Ebay.com. It is not unusual items some very large and cannot be shipped by regular motor carriers. In many cases, two or three modes of transportation are needed to effect deliver. One shipment was transported by motor vehicle then by steamship to Alaska and by air cargo to destination,
