DAS DAMAGED MY CAR
I recently had my new car shipped interstate and used DAS. DAS WRECKED MY CAR and WOULD NOT PAY FOR THE DAMAGED DONE BY THEIR DRIVERS. The driver apologized profusely. He told me that there was a lot of traffic and he had gotten into an accident. I had to pay out of my own pocket over $1000 to pay for this repair. DAS would only pay for $150. This is so wrong! I contacted Erin Almand, customer service manager for her assitance. Erin Almand ignored my calls. Every DAS rep that I spoke with told me to contact Erin Almand and that she would help me. Erin Almand does not care about DAS or its customers. BUYER BEWARE OF DEPENDABLE AUTO SHIPPERS. They only care about getting your money! Consumers, please read all the reviews before going with an auto transport company. I should have listened to the reviews...

AUTO SHIPPER TO AVOID
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! DAS IS CHEAP FOR THIS REASON. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU SHIP YOUR PRECIOUS AUTO.
EVERYONE IS CROOKED THAT LOMBARD STREET AT DAS DIRECT AUTO SHIPPER.
I have a 2008 Toyota Camry that was shipped via DAS less than 6 months ago that was promised to arrive within 10 days. I didn't received it after 21 days later.
After I received and signed off on it I noticed an unsual sound coming out of my dashboard while driving it. Upon inspecting the problem I noticed that my airbag was missing on the front passenger side, front AC adapter is no longer working, oil stains all over the rear seats, unable to properly close the trunk, rear glass window had a minute cracked on the window that spread after a couple of months and a big plastic crack by the air vent. Took the car to the dealer and verified my findings. The dealer wanted to charge me $2000.00 to have it fix.
I called DAS for claim and told me that once I signed off the "Paper" all and any of the damage/claim is out of their hands. To put it in other words to "Go f**k myself".
Now I have an unsafe car, paid DAS $900.00 for teribble shipping, $2000.00 in unrecoverable mechanical damages.
