I received flyer in mail to earn up to $550.00 a week making bracelets if you send a start up fee of 79.90. I sent a certified cheque 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing. Just found this complaint website. I wish that I had found this before as this looks like I have been scammed. They also had a website saying the same thing. I looked this up on the better business bureau of canada and only had one complaint at the time and so I thought that it should be alright as the website said that it had been resolved. Hopefully everyone will let the BB know.

I have ordered for a start up kit for $79.90 from Dawn Jewellery on Feb. 27, 2008 and they said they will send my kit in 3-5 business day once they have received my cheque. So they cashed the cheque on March 18, 2008 AND I WAITED AND WAITED after 3 months then I sent them a registered letter and shortly after I received my kit. Now after studying the kit I see that I have pay $61 for the materials for 30 bracelets so the $275 salary IS NOT NET because YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR MATERIALS, AND IS NOT WORTH MORE THAN A DOLLAR. The instructions were IMPOSSIBLE TO FOLLOW THROUGH. If people are looking into this type business is because they are not rich and they are struggling to find a way to do a little bit of money and these SCAMMERS STEAL THE MONEY FROM THE POOR PEOPLE TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS FOR GOOD.

And I still don't understand how this company has gotten this far for so many years without being closed down.

Dawn Jewelery 525 Highland Road West, Kitchener, Ontario: this company is pure fraud. They tell you that for 79 dollars they will supply you with a package to make at home 30 bracelets which will bring you a net profit of 550 dollars. They forgot to mention their e-mail address, and phone number and to tell you that your money is not refundable. They also send you enough bids to make 5 Bracelets. You have to buy the bids from them at 61 dollars enough to make 30 bracelets.

Guess what those bids are worth about 50 cents. Cheap plastic bids, if you buy them somewhere else they will return your package unpaid. Now the other problem. NO matter how skillful a person is you have to assemble a bracelet made of 500 bids, and tie them up in all kinds of decorative shapes with one single thread. IMPOSSIBLE! The instructions are not clear and even with one month of work 90 percent of the population will never succeed in making one bracelet, let alone 30. you would be screaming mad and pull away to a mad house after 30 bracelets.

The scam is they pocket your 79 dollars, and send you a package worth one dollar and they tell you you cannot send it back and your money cannot be refund. Of course everybody would send them back their useless package if they could. There is no way on earth those bracelets could be put together. So they have nothing to pay. They just pocket your money, and good buy sucker. Don't waist your money with those people. They made fraud legal by paying for 30 bracelets which they know very well they will never receive, Some people may be able to succeed in making a couple. But by the time they produce 30 I'm not sure they will be able to retain their sanity. Rippoff is the word. I hope somebody put those jokers out of the market the sooner the better.
