Rude
I work at the steel mill here in AL and I was paying $50 a night to stay at the Days Inn here in Saraland, which is a good $1500 I forked over a month just for a room there. While I was there the rooms were very clean and the room service workers were very polite which was a definite plus. But when I was there the manager (unknown name, red head) was very very rude to me every single time we spoke. I thought with her being the manager and me being a paying customer, that she would at least have some respect. I was low on money one Friday and was also being paid that Friday at 3 p.m. and I asked if I could wait to pay for my room when I got back from picking up my pay check that day around 4:30 or 5 p.m. The lady (not the red head) said that would be just fine, she would leave a note. The manager finds out, gets on to the worker whom gave me permission and called me over and over until I could pay her. She was very rude to me when I told her kindly that I informed one of the workers and she says "They're suppose to ask me, I'll take care of them, I need my money". She was very rude and disgusting and I don't recommend the motel to those who don't like disrespectful people. The manager. I am very offended and I pay a good deal of money to stay there each week, I thought they would have a little more kindness to there guests and regular customers.

unfair charge
I made a reservation couple months ago, on line. after my confirmation arrived from the reservation agency, via E-mail, I discovered I made a mistake on the date of the days of stay at the hotel.
When I contacted both, the reservation agency and the hotel, they both refused to comply with my request to make changes or cancel my reservation, with the wrong dates. They insisted to stick to their policy of ''no change or cancelation''.
After making dozens of calls and writing letters, and have my attorney send the hotel a letter requesting what I mentioned, to no avail, I decided to take my case to ''Small Claims'', which is pending.
I hope this will turn out in my favor.

Poor service , rude and or uncaring employee
I returned to my room around 11:30 pm and my the bedding was stripped and not made up .
I contacted the front office and the girl that was working said it was not her fault because she worked the afternoon shift. I had to ask her if I was expected to make my bed so I could go to sleep, and she had then asked if she should send someone to make it up for me. When someone finally did arrive( the girl whose fault it wasn't) I continued to express my displeasure with, and she had the nerve to tell me not to complain to her because she was DOING ME A FAVOR and making my bed for me. I couldnt understand this because I know I paid for three nights to stay at the hotel and this was a basic service provided at all the other hotels that I stayed at before!
I told her that if she wanted to do me a favor, she could get the f$#% out of my room.
By then it was near midnight, no bed made, me peaved off, shaking and I had to get up by 5am for a 12 hour drive home on mothers day. I then went to the front desk and had to ask the favor lady the Hotel managers name and what time she would be in the next morning. Of course the GM did not come in untill 8:30 - 9 am.And she was probably sleeping in a nicely made cozy bed. So Ms. Not My Fault gave me Dioni Harrisons name and I called 411 information for the local area and got the managers home phone number and called her at midnight. Needless to say I dont think she was very happy being woke up. I told her how unhappy I was and expected to be compensated for my inconvieniences AND then she got mad at me!!! Can you believe it??? Once again, I did pay in advance in full when I checked inn, big mistake, at a higher rate than usual becauseit was the Darlinton southern 500 weekend.
I also contacted Days Inn customer Service, you know they are so concerned that you enjoyu your stay and stuff. Well its been 2 months and I have not heard from anyone, and that is why I have left my story with the world wide web and let you all make a deciscion as to where you may or may not stay in the future. It would be nice just to hear from someone that would just say, I AM SORRY, What can I do for you.
