My husband and I booked a room at Days Inn North in Davenport, Ia because the online pictures of the pool facilities were very nice. We were not told until after we checked in that the pool was drained, as well as the hot tub. When we went to the door that was supposed to be locked for security purposes we didnt need our key to get in at all, because there was a rug rolled up to keep it open EVERY time we left and returned to the hotel. The bathroom was very unplesent with the DIRT in the bathtub and the shower having nothing more than a trickle of water. The washer and dryer on our floor were out of order. Around 4;30 AM we were rudely awaken by the light fixture over the sink popping off the wall. Unfortanatly complaining was not even possible because the attendent at the desk did not speak english. There was a gentleman at the desk trying to get a room very late at night and he had to go elsewhere because he could not get her to understand that he didnt have a room yet, she just kept saying room number? room number?
Well, when I called the cooperate number to complain I was given a case number and told to call back on Nov. 20 which is today of course and when I called back today I was very rudly told when I gave my hotel information THEY lodged a complaint againg the wrong hotel so now I sit back and wait for them to go through the whole process all over again.
