Don't stay there
1st off all i like to say that since i was young(almost 50 now) We have been staying at Days Inn all over. So last week the 1st Days Inn was in Dickson Tennessee. Well there was no hot water(warm only). We could live with that. Was not the nicest room but we could live with that. Than on the way back a few days later, we were tired, it was after 10:00 pm we stopped at the Days Inn in Hurricane Mills Tennessee. We get up to our room and it was really hot so we turn on the air. It was in the 90's all week.Than my husband go to sit in the chair and the back falls off the chair.Than i move the night stand to plug in my laptop and it look like it had never been vacuumed. But being really tired we decided to go to sleep and not think about that stuff. Woke up about an hour and a half later cause it was like over 100 degrees in our room, the air was not working right. Thought I was going to pass out. Well that was enough, even though my husband got them to change our room i won't be staying at a Days Inn again.

Infestation of spiders
Never stay at the Days Inn In Florence, South Carolina. My husband and I along with my daughter checked into the hotel on Mother's Day weekend not knowing that it was a race weeekend. We had checked several hotels before we checked into this because all the others was booked. After we checked in we left to go to my mother in law house without checking the hotel room. When we got to the back to the hotel there was spiders on the wall. My husband killed them and then he realized they was more spiders under the lamp. We called the front desk and informed them that we couldn't stay in a spider infested room taking the chance of getting bit. The gentlemen at the checkout said he couldn't refund my card without the approval of his manager and that his manager wouldn't be in until Monday that if we waited they would fumigate Monday. We told him that we was not staying and waiting until Monday. He gave us the property manager card. When I contacted the Manager (Robin Osbourne) she informed me that she couldn't do anything until she checked with the fellow who checked us out and that he wouldn't be in until the end of the week. When I called her back for the next two weeks she came up with the excuse that she hadn't talked to the guy yet, that she would call me to update me. Needless to say, I never received a call and so that got $101.oo from me for stay that never happened. This has turned me off from all Days Inn.

service
Let just start the service was terrible at this days inn. As soon as i arrived i was overcharged for the room that i had. I was charged $428.00 for two nights. while other customers were charged about $154 for one night. I was also charged for and extra bed $20.00 at end of checkout not included in the original bill.
Second Complaint was the room.
-The room as soon as i went in it had a rotten smell on the carpets.
-The room had a bunch of bread crumbs on the floor.
-There was ants in the bathroom.
-There was pubic hairs on the toilet.
-The toilet was clogged with feces in it.
I have had one of the worst experiences i ever had, and i would never again stay at a days inn. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Complaint
We "tried" to stay at the Days Inn on exit 26 off of Interstate 69. We rented a room (165) that was filthy - smelled like cat piss. We asked for another room, they were trying to give us room 164 which was already occupied by another person. They sent up upstairs to the second floor. On our way upstairs, we noticed the entire back end of the hotel was missing the glass so anyone could come in to the hotel itself, writing on the way. Reminded us of section 8 housing projects. Once we got to our room, we checked to see if we could lock our door - it would not lock properly, and I could reach in with my hand to unlock the chain. The ice maker on two floors were broken, the top of the maker was off and people were throwing their trash bags in there like it was a dumpster.
We left to find another hotel within mins - came back and turned in the keys less then 30 mins later from check in to check out. They would not refund. It was a horrific experience - I'll never stay at a Days Inn again.

Worst service ever
I booked my stay at Days Inn 5858 International Drive Orlando Florida, The stay there was a nightmare, Rooms were Dirty, Humid and infested with mites/ticks, Phone in room not working, Batroom Lights not working, Toilet Flush not working, Open stinking storm water drain just outside room, area around swimming pool Water logged and stinking. AC system Mysteriously Stops working between 2.00 AM and 4:00 AM. Manager was never available for complaints and the chinese frontdesk assistants were difficult to communicate to. Me and My family had several insect bite that night. Next day they managed to change my room but they charged me extra $80.00 for that. If you are planning to travel to Orlando choose any other motels or hotel but not Days Inn. The Wyndham Hotels who manages Franchisees at DAYS INN is also not trust worthy. The customer care department has not yet come back with my complaint resolution.

Filthy Room/Terrible Service/No Resolution
Went to the Days Inn in Buellton CA on Father's Day. Picked this hotel because I thought they ran clean comfortable places to stay. I was SOOO wrong! Stood in the lobby about 10 minutes while the phone rang off the hook before someone came to check us in. Got to the room and it smelled awful. The door wouldn't close properly and the sliding glass door to the pool area was unlocked. The bathroom had mold in the shower and there was a pubic hair on the remote for the TV. Next morning the front desk personnel made us wait 10 minutes while they finished a personal conversation before we could check out. Worst of all their corporate office doesn't seem to care at all or want there to be any resolution. I've been going back and forth with two of their "customercare" people and can't get any kind of satisfaction. I should have stayed at Pea Soup Andersons across the street.

Fraudulent charges
Stayed at the Days Inn in downtown Spartanburg, SC for two dyas in May. I made reservations over the internet and the pictures of the place looked nice.( The place was a dump with abondoned cars all around the place). When I checked in I asked what the nightly rate was. I was told that the rate was set by the "booking company" and they would not disclose the rate. The desk clerk then asked to see my credit card. I was under the impression that the clerk would have run the card through a machine but instead he wrote my card information down on a scrap piece of paper. (This was the first indication of trouble). When I asked the clerk why he needed my credit card number he said he would charge our room if we stole the sheets or towels (which weren't any good anyway).Upon checkout the clerk was no where to be seen and the "owner" was there. I told him I wanted the piece of paper back with my credit card number on it and he produced a different paper which he refused to give back to me. I told him that I was going to be watching my account and he told me he would "NOT" steal from me.
WELL, two weeks later I got a call from my credit card company with information that apparent fraudulent purchases had been made with my card, one for $4100 and another for $350. The card company said the purchaese originated from Spartanburg, SC, amazing huh? When I tried to call the Days Inn, I was immediately cut off and they would not answer the phone again... My advice is to definately stay away from Days Inn's altogether. My next years trip to that area I will stay at a Holiday Inn.

door to room failing to inform room wasn't ready
First when we checked in went to the room it wasn't even cleaned yet. The front desk clerk didn't even bother to inform us. The next thing was the room door wouldn't even shut. We went to complain she said other guest complained earlier in the week but she forgot to mention it to maintenence. We asked for a different room but none were available a friend of ours came by and had to lift the door up just to close it which was terrible.I will probablynever stay there again. Your housekeeping staff were great, your management and front desk staff leaves something to be desired.
Thank you

Horrible and Rude service
We booked a non-smoking room for DAYS INN DOWNTOWN MONTEREY (San Carlos Inn) at Hotels.com.
We received a SMOKING room and Days Inn refused to move us saying they were BOOKED, which was a lie. We then called Hotels.com where we booked the room and all they could do for us was give us a 10% discount of $26! We decided to suck it up and stay in the room because no one cared to better accommodate us.
The room smelled AWFUL, including the bed sheets and curtains. My husband later tried to access the Wifi they claimed they had with the hotel password and it did NOT work. He went to the front desk to complain where he witnessed the employee give a lady a non-smoking room for the night. My husband approached the lady outside to confirm she did not have prior reservations and she said she did not!! At this point, we were fuming. Trying to keep calm, we spent the night. The walls are very thin and we heard the faucets and noises from other rooms all night long.
As we packed up the next morning (because we surely weren't going to stay for the second night we booked), I looked under the bed to make sure we were not forgetting any belongings in this horrible place and I found dirty UNDERWEAR that was not ours!!!
This hotel looks nothing like the pictures online, there's no oceanview, their "large" complimentary breakfast they claim to have is nothing but toast and bagels, they don't care one bit about CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, and we will never stay at another Days Inn.
DAYS INN = HORRIBLE
CUSTOMER SERVICE = NON-EXISTENT!

dirty
I travel all over the us and have stayed in many motels. But this one is by far the dirtiest and most run-down that I've ever seen in my life!!! The carpet is so nasty that I had to make a trail of towels to walk on, so that my feet or socks didn't turn black! I had my cat with me and when he walked on the carpet and than jumped up on the sink or in the bath-tub he left black greasy foot prints all over the place. When I shut the bath-room door the bottom section of the wall near the p broke loose from rot.It shoed they patched it with joint compound. The tub surround on the top had dirt and looked like it never was cleaned. Also next to the wall where the entrance door is located in that corner was dirt and black dust, you can run your finger down it and leave a trial. I'm am sending pictures to prove my case. I would of went to another but I was dead tired. Next time I will check out rooms before I get them .
