I saw an add for free trial of tooth whitener for the cost of shipping and handling. I have been a dental assistant for 12 years so the product looked like a good deal knowing what we charged for tooth whitening. When I got the whitening pen I knew that I had been scammed. I tried to contact the business and after finally getting through I cancelled the free trial and was told that I would be charged $79.81 because I had exceeded the free trial. I stated that I wanted no more shipments and no more charges on my debit card. I received a cancellation notice by e-mail in Sept 2009. I received a package from Dazzel White again in November and in December there was a charge on my card.
I will be contacting my bank and having my debit card number changed because of these practices. Companies like this should not be allowed to continue to cheat the American consumers.
Below is a copy of the cancellation e-mail that I received back in September.

Thank you for taking the time to try out DazzleWhite. This is an automated message to confirm that you have recently been removed from our preferred customer program; therefore you will no longer be receiveing any more DazzleWhite products or shipments unless a shipment had already been shipped prior to your cancellation.
In case you are still within your 14-day trial offer, then you are still responsible for this order as well as the billling of $79.28 for the DazzleWhite Pen at the end of your 14-day trial period. This billing will only take place if you fail to return the product back to us before the end of your trial period. If we do receive and process your trial return at our returns department before the end of your trial offer period then this charge will not take place. If you 14-day trial period has already ended and you have received or been shipped an additional shipment, then you will not be billed for any other shipment from this point forward.
Please keep this cancellation note for future reference.
