Unauthorized charges
I'm getting married in 10 months and wanted my teeth whiter. I filled out the form for Dazzle White trial offer for $1.95 instead of $4.95. Before I hit the "send" button, I had a gut feeling not to order it. I then erased all my info and cancelled out of their website.
To my surprise I received a tube of Dazzle White. My credit card was charged $4.95 instead of $1.95 I was confused as to how they got my information when I deleted it and never sent it to them!!
Then I received 3 more tubes. I called the company, explained the above and "Iris" informed me that she will issue a credit of $79.28 because I called within 30 days of receiving the product, something which was never ordered in the first place!!

Scam: unauthorized charges and sign up for products you didn't signup for
This is a total rip-off. I hope you found this before you got sucked in. You can never trust somebody that says it will ONLY be $1.95 - AFTER you get the email receipt you find out that you are going to be charges a $48.92 charge and an on-going $48.92 that you don't want and they signed me up for something it never spoke about or I wanted - that's FRAUD. So I called immediately upon reading the email to get a refund - AMAZINGLY they can't help you, but they can send you to someone who can. So you call that number and they tell you 5-7 business days you'll get a refund. Well that doesn't happen, so you call again and they say you have to return something you never received and it will be another 5-10 business days - AND IF BY CHANCE that doesn't happen call back. Well, then that doesn't happen you call back to find out they will "have to investigate the claim" and someone will get back to you within 10 days. It appears they stall you out past the 30 days and have no intention of refunding you anything. Don't trust anything they say ITS TRULY IS THE MEANING OF SCAM.

fraud
I was duped by Dazzle White- the product doesn't work by the way. The free trial is NOT for the free product. You try it for two weeks for free then they charge you 70.00. They claim it is all on the website and that I should have read the fine print. I called to complain because I was charged on my Master Card for two shipments plus charges from Florida for services I had not ordered. MasterCard said I had to deal with Dazzlewhite and the other companies myself. I sent back the second shipment ( a complete surprise to me as there was no mention of future shipments in the original order) of Dazzlewhite unopened with only return to sender, do not want on it prior to calling them and receiving my credit card bill. When I phoned them, they tried to tell me this was all in the fine print and I said there was no fine print because this offer came thru my email for survey products. Finally I had to tell them that I would call the RCMP and report them for intenet fraud. She checked with her manager and said I could get a refund if I sent back the product (which broke after several uses) insured with a tracking number. The insurance was a rediculous amount and I thought, screw them, I will send it back regular mail. I was that confident in Canada Post. I did put a tracking number on it as that was only $1.00. They must have received both as I got a refund but not the original shipping and handling. Then I had to phone two Florida numbers and threaten them with the RCMP and internet fraud. I got my money back there too. Justice prevailed because one of Florida "theives" refunded me too much which made up for not getting the shipping and handling back from Dazzlewhite. Also, the original price quoted for S&H was 5.00 but they ended up charging me more. Do not buy from this company. They had a depot in Canada but still charge you in US dollars. They also sell your credit card info to other companies who charge your card for services you know nothing about and did not order. Beware of ordering off the internet.

Fradulent Business Practices
I spoke with a representative to inquire about a suspicious charge to my bank account ($87.62). The charge should have only been for $4.95 for a trial offer of the product. I didn't know that the offer had a "30-day call to cancel" future shipments condition. Anyway, the rep agreed to cancel future charges and explained that she would send an email to me the next day with instructions for returning the product that had just been shipped to me. The email was never received because they sent it to the wrong email address. Meanwhile I received the product a few days following at which time I returned it "return to sender." To date I have not received a credit and was told by 2 other representatives that since I don't have a tracking number for the returned product that they cannot refund my money. I was never instructed by any representative that I would need a tracking number in order to receive a refund. Interestingly enough, my bank representative informed me that it's common practice for deceptive merchants to neglet to inform clients that they will need to provide a tracking number for all returned items. Well now I know.
CNN Investigative Reports, please pick up this merchant on your radar and expose them! Consumers, beware of this company. Avoid them at all costs!

Charges
I had the same problem, signed up for the free trial, post and packing, then received a notification stating it would cost me extra, went on to live chat and was told
Victoria: Hi, are you here to place an order?
you: i placed a trial order for $4.95, then it asked me if i would like to upgrade free of charge for a speedier delivery, now I have received an email stating that it has charged me $14.90
Victoria: Could you please provide me with your full name, email address and postal/zip code, so that I can pull up your details?
you:
Victoria: Please allow me few moments, while I locate your transaction.
Victoria: You have been charged $14.90 ( $4.95 for shipping and $9.95 for the international fee) .
Victoria: Our product is manufactured in USA. We have to ship it first from USA to UK via DHL, then we have to ship it to your destination using another shipping company. We have to pay shipping fee twice. That's why we charge an extra $9.95 for international orders. I hope you can understand.
you: so why did it not tell me that in the first place?
Victoria: I apologize, but it is clearly stated in our terms & conditions that you will be charged and extra $ 9.95 for intl shipping.
you: so when the first screen comes up to tell you that it will be $4.95 that isn't correct, it leads a customer to believe that is all they will be paying
Victoria: I have already mentioned you the reason above please.
you: I therefore wish to cancel my order
Victoria: Just a moment please.
Victoria: You have been removed from the auto ship program and you will not be receiving any further shipments. As per the Terms and Conditions you agreed to before placing your order, your card will be charged the discounted rate of $58.76 for the first shipment of Dazzle Whitening teeth after the completion of the trial period.
Victoria: Your cancellation # is
This is a complete joke, they should be barred from advertising on the internet.

legal exploitation-fraud
I have ordered 3 day free trial and went away. I did not realized the sham I got myself into until I checked my Visa statements.
There were 3 charges of $87.62 USD on my account. I called them and canceled the order; got cancellation # from them.
I also called my bank and they put in their records that the further charges from the healthsmile or other related companies are not acceptable (they will dispute the charges on my behalf).
I will get only one of the charges reversed if I send the package back to distributor. The other two charges are not reversible because it has been already 30 days since they sent me the product according to the their terms. What a mess!! This is an organized, legal exploitation which has to be stopped.

Scam
My credit card is regularly being debited fraudulently by Healthsmile, Elite Pack, Improve Health and I'm sure there will be more names to come !! All are part of the same group - Dazzle White. I have at long last managed to contact them using the phone number provided by someone else on this site - thank you for displaying it. Having just talked to my credit card company in the UK, they have advised that 25% of calls they are receiving are in connection with Dazzle White and their associated companies - there are 00000's being scammed.
I have now been able to secure address details for returning anything they may send you and thought it may be useful for others if I posted them on this site - here they are:

unauthorised withdrawal of money
On the 16 June 2009 I registered for free sample of the Dazzlewhite product with payment of postage required. I received an email back titled 'Dazzlewhite trial receipt' quoting Acaiburn Transaction Number: DZW021245125502 and stating this is your receipt for your $14.90 purchase of a 14 day trial.
I had an online conversation with this company at a later date due to my non-receipt of this item. I was charged for this conversation. I later received the trial item. However, regular deductions continued to be made from my account and no further product was forthcoming.
On 19 August 2009 I spoke to a representative from Dazzlewhite and requested that all dealings between us be terminated. I had not received any items and was being regularly charged. On the 20 August 2009 I received an email confirming my cancellation. See below:
Thank you for taking the time to try out DazzleWhite. This is an automated message to confirm that you have recently been removed from our preferred customer program; therefore you will no longer be receiveing any more DazzleWhite products or shipments unless a shipment had already been shipped prior to your cancellation.
Please keep this cancellation note for future reference.
Sincerely,
DazzleWhite Cancellation Department
I then received a package with 3 items to match the number of payments deducted from my account.
Unfortunately my cancellation does not appear to have stopped DazzleWhite from continually deducting money from my account - including the day after I received the cancellation notice from them.
I have items listed as:
21/8/09 vh access 888-332-2707 (foreign amount 3.24 US Dollar) - $3.91Au
21/8/09 Healthmember - 888-779-5303 (foreign amount 7.14US Dollar) - $8.61Au
19/9/09 Elitepack 8663962729 (foreign amount 2.96US Dollar) - $3.41Au
24/9/09 Kitaccess 8663410774 (foreign amount 7.01US Dollar) - $8.04Au
19/10/09 Ezykit 8664371621 (foreign amount 7.01US Dollar) - $7.67Au
20/10/09 Elitepack 8663962729 (foreign amount 2.96US Dollar) - $3.24Au
I have not included the curreny conversion fees!
I am now in the process of talking to my bank and their fraud investigation area to recover and prevent any further withdrawals from this organisation.
STOP - your actions are unethical.
