This company charged my debit card $87.62 after I had paid $1.99 on shipping of a sample of their teeth whitening product.

Deceptive Practices
I actually signed up for two products Brite Smile and Dazzle White. I stupidly read someone's testimonial on a website that said that you could get these products and just have to pay shipping and there were coupons for shipping.

Dazzle White contacted me a few days after I placed the order to let me know that they would be sending me out more of their products as a courtesy. I told them that I didn't want any more. I just wanted the trial sample and that was all. I did not want it to keep coming. They told me thank you and hung up. So, I thought I cancelled this. Today, approximately 1 month and 1 week later, I received another shipment. I looked up my credit card bill to see that they charged me 2 times for $86.72 each about a week apart from each other. Bear in mind this is a little tube of tooth paint essentially that used sparingly lasts about a week or 2. I called the numbers on the statement which were under different names and numbers. They were not in service. I called my credit card to close my account. They told me these companies are legal scammers and I am not the only person to be done this way. I did get the real number to Dazzle White and have called and cancelled this service again. They also told me that I can return the product that I just received for a credit. We will see.

this Trial Offer should be illegal
I too order the "Trial Offer" and, after giving my credit card details for th $1.99, I was charged $11.90 onto my credit card.

I too tried to cancel immediately and was told that wasn't possible. There are no return instructions given in the packet you receive and it was only after joining their live chat line that I received details of the the address I should return it to.

I am now returning the trial offer (a week after receiving it) and have nnt yet been charged for the the $85 they say I will be liable for. However I have cancelled my credit card that I paid for the trial with.

This "business" practice should be banned. Reputable sites - like Yahoo - should be ashamed to accept advertising business from them

Unauthorized Charges
I agreed to accept a "free trial" of their Dazzle White product and was only to be charged $2.95 for shipping and handling. Now, I have been charged $87.62 as the first monthly installment on a "membership". I have yet to even use the product. I have contacted the company and tried to obtain refund. My membership has been cancelled. But this complaint really addresses what I believe to be a misrepresentation in their advertising. This is more clearly characterized as a "scam" operation. Yes, they are allowed to make these charges in accordance with their Terms and Conditions, which, I admit, I did not read completely--it is 4 pages of single spaced text. I assumed that such an offer of a "free trial" was an attempt to obtain your business legitimately--not to surreptiously use the "Terms and Conditions" as an opportunity to raid your credit card account. But, there in the "weeds" of details, they say they will do just exactly what they have done--go right ahead and charge you 5o times what your initial cost was to have been simply because you did not follow their carefully crafted T&C. That is what has happened and I intend to complain as much as I can to attempt to stop this company and regain my money. I will contact BBB, FTC, and the Internet Crime website to appraise them of this companies scandalous tactics and business practices. I am not sure if this Complaint Board can do anything about this injustice but I would certainly appreciate any help you may be able to provide. Thanks, Jerry.

Unable to contact to cancel order.
Sent me a free trial of a tooth whitening product that was supposed to be a free trial which I could cancel at any time. There were no instructions sent with the product and no company markings on the tube containing the product. When some solution leaked out of what appeared to be the applicator, it burned my fingers.

When I attempted to call back the number that called me confirming my free trial (and to whom I stupidly gave my credit card to) I was unable to contact anyone. I cannot find an internet address for the company and have no way to contact them to cancel this farce. They advised me in the phone call to me that If I was satisfied with the product, they would automatically send me more and bill me at the rate of $49.95 per month. I am trying to cancel the order with no success. Any suggestions, please? Anyone?

I did keep the postal information off the package they sent me. As I stated, there are no instructions for the product and no way to contact them to cancel the order.

Pass your information on to other companies
I did agree to the shipping charges for a free trial of Dazzle White. This has turned into a nightmare of charges to my bank account. They gave my information to other companies. I am having to track down and cancel many 'services' for small amounts (i.e.: 3.24 and 7.14) plus the large payments to Dazzle White for not canceling in a "timely" manner. Don't be sucked into this scheme.

fraud and non authorized charges
Folks, The current complaint is valid and just happened to me as well. Fortunately my bank caught the charge and denied before they zapped my account. I cancelled my card, have placed this company on BBB in Arizona and will be filing a federal fraud complaint today.
Keep it up and I guarantee that you will be in court shortly for a class action lawsuit. My legal friends are ready to eat this up!!!

Dazzle White consider yourself warned and don't even respond with the fake letters below that show a bogus 800 phone service.

Unauthorized charges on credit card
Agreed to 14-day trial - paid minimal amount. Got another shipment - returned it and asked for a credit. Now credit card shows more charges each month! Please have them stop sending me this product and credit my credit card in its entirety for all products.
