Dazzlewhite Reviews

Scam
Unfortunately I was taken in by this scam too. I found the trial sign-up info through an article about one woman's way of trying to save some money. The article looked legitimate. I had not clicked on any ad links to find it and it was on CNN's site. Very sneaky! The article explained that if you use DazzleWhite and Vibrant Whitening one after the other, you could lighten your teeth better than just using one brand. She also provided the codes to lower the shipping and handling costs.

Like a fool, I didn't read the extra fine print that stated I had to cancel within 15 days to not be charged. I was hit with an $88.97 charge and received more Vibrant Whitening applications. I contacted Vibrant via email at [email protected]. I received a response telling me that I would have received a refund if I had canceled within 15 days of receiving the trial. I did some digging and found out that I could get a refund if I was unsatisfied with the product. Here is what it says on the website:

We have a 15-day satisfaction guarantee return policy on all shipments.
Returns:
If you are unsatisfied with our product, you may return the unused
portion 15 days from the date that the product was originally shipped
to you for a FULL refund according to the following terms. To obtain a
FULL refund, your return must be postmarked 15 days from the date that
the product was originally shipped to you. Please note, the following
terms apply for all returned items:
To return a product for an exchange or FULL refund you will need to
obtain a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number by contacting
the billing department at [email protected].

I emailed this to them and they promptly sent me an RMA number and received a refund within 10 days of them receiving the unused products.

I am glad that I was able to get my money back and I hope this information helps others.

Scam
I ordered a trial sample from Dazzlewhite.com after reading what I thought was a genuine advertisement from a satisfied customer. I paid £11.90 for postage and packing. The advertisement did not clearly state that I would become a Club Member for Dazzlewhite and for two other memberships. I have had money taken from by bank account for a membership, 3 months supply of a product I have still not received and memberships I did not even know I have. If I hadnt gone online to complain on Dazzlewhites chat window, I would not have known about the other 2 memberships. So far I have had at least £250.00 taken from my account by all 3 of these companies, Dazzlewhite.com, Ultifreshwell and a weightloss company. I am certainly going to my bank to put in a complaint. Dazzlewhite is a scam and they should not be allowed to advertise.

Unclear Commitment
The company website indicates you are getting a FREE sample of their product and only need to pay shipping for the sample. Elsewhere on the site there are conditions which say the "FREE SAMPLE" becomes charged to you if you do not contact them within 15 days of the transaction.

Since the pro duct takes about 5 days to get to you and their own web site indicate that you will not probably not see effective results for about 2 weeks, the 15 day trial is not even enough time to determine whether the product is useful or not.

While this company's business practices are not legal fraud, one certainly could consider it deceptive and unfair business practices.

My advice is to not do business with this company unless you fully understand what you are getting into.

unsolicited charges
Here are the phone numbers that worked today for these companies:
Whitesmile 888-227-2950; Healthmember 888-779-5303; VH Access 888-332-2707. CALL YOUR STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL AS WELL AS YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO REPORT YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THESE COMPANIES. MAKE NOTES OF YOUR CONVERSATIONS AND ATTEMPTS TO REACH THESE COMPANIES. FIA Card Services which hold the VISA card my friend used with these companies said today it could not refuse to honor charges put through by these companies.

The nightmare in Missouri: My 84 year old friend ordered a free sample of Dazzlewhite via Internet and agreed to pay shipping charges of $4.95 for the free sample, via credit card. Subsequently, Whitesmile sent two shipments of tooth whitener and charged him $58.71 plus foreign transaction charge of $1.76 per shipment, AND Healthmember charged him $$7.14 plus foreign fee of $1.76 AND VH Access charged him $3.24 plus $.09 foreign fee. He had no idea that he had authorized subsequent shipments of the product or the charges from Healthmember and VH Access charges. Maybe he didn't. I didn't dare experiment with the website to see what it actually says. Healthmember said today it will refund $3.57 (half of its charge), and VH Access said it will refund all of its $3.24. Healthmember will not refund its $117.42 until he returns the product according to the instructions it will send via email to him. He's going to pay the foreign transaction fees which are about $5 total rather than hassle any further.

Credit Card charges
I ordered a trial size of Dazzlewhite on 20th July for which I was charged $11.90 on my August Credit Card Statement. This month I have been charged $58.71 by Whitesmile, $3.24 by VH Access, $7.14 by Healthmember and $58.71 by Whitesmile. I certainly did not intend to subscribe to any of the above companies.

Dazzlewhite
Do NOT purchase this crap!!! I am a Dental Hygienist and I am telling you this pen is only worth about $5. We use it in the dental profession to SLIGHTLY lighten a tooth that may be a shade or 2 darker than the rest, and that is all. Also what people need to understand is that in order for there to be a signifigant change in tooth color we aim for around at least 7 shades of difference. one or 2 shades is NOTHING. Also they claim that Dazzlewhite will change the color of crowns, veneers and tooth colored fillings, It will NOT, there is not such product, even for us dental professionals!!! If you don't return the pen in 14 days they charge you $79.99 to your credit card, you could see a dentist for only a marginal amount more. Don't buy this product, it's just a scam!! If it's too good to be true...hope this helps ppl.

fraudulent credit card withdrawals
I too have been scammed by Dazzlewhite. I ordered the free trial and before I recieved it they had debited my credit card with $71.83.

I rang immediately and cancelled the order & demanded they crdiet my account they said the amount was just pending. The sample arrived and I returned it and they debited my account again, once again I rang and demanded they credit my account which they did.

Now I am getting small debits coming out like $8.69 and $3.10 but I dont know who is withdrawing it. They are not authorised amounts and I have now gone to the bank and cancelled my credit card. What a bunch of fraudulent lying thieves

Scammers
I went to do the 14 day trial, wrote in "whiteteeth" so the fee would be $1.95. I got charged $4.95. When I called about the fee I canceled. I didn't get refunded $3.00 dollars or get an apology.

I sent the product back to the address that was given to me and wrote the tracking number on it as the directions said.

I was still charged $79.95. When I phoned and talked with them I was told until they recieve the product back I will get charged.

I spoke with three different people, I have their names, the date I spoke with them and the time. Each of them told me I would not get charged. I would say they have a good scam going. I did contact my bank and gave them all the information. I will be contacting the BBB also. Companies like this should be shut down.

OH- The product didn't work. It made my teeth sensitive.

scam
I ordered a 'free' trial and canceled but keep getting billed from several different places, actually it came out of my checking account. This is the worst ripoff I have ever had done to me. I had to call several places and seems I cannot even get my money back, I was taken for over $600.00 trying to get it stopped is a nightmare. Is there not something we can do to stop this SCAM?????
