I have had a fraudulent charge from this company as well. Earlier this year I ordered 3 books from this company totaling around $40. When I didn't hear back about the order shipping I cancelled via the website. About 1 month after the cancellation I noticed a charge for the $40 on my bank statement. I figured out whom the charge was from & immediately called them. I found the phone number on their webiste and had a hard time getting through to a human being. When I finally did get a person on the phone she was RUDE. I explained to her I had cancelled the order via the website. She stated she saw no such cancellation on her end and the reason for the charge was the books were in route. I told her I would refuse the order and to please credit the $40 charge back. She stated she couldn't do that but would give me a retrun authorization number to return the books once I rec'd it and I would only receive partial credit because I didnt' cancel in a timely manner. I was furious! I tried to reason with her explaining over & over again how I had CANCELLED the order via their website. Finally I just gave up & hoped to receive the books in order to return it. Well that day NEVER CAME! The only reason I am saying anything NOW is because yesterday on my bank statement is a charge for a FEE of $119.95 from DBS. It took me all morning to figure it out but not before I contact my bank to report the FRAUDULENT charges. Once I returned home I googled DBS because it still wasn't ringing a bell with me. Once I did google & found all of these complaints against this company I was shocked. I typically order from B&N or Borders but because of a recommenedation from a woman in my bible study class I placed the order with this particular company. I found the website again and to my surpise my account with them was still active even though I cancelled it months ago. They had every thing entered from my original order including the debit card I used. This place is nothing but a scam and I am reporting it to every AGENCY I can find. I am hoping they get shut down. I pray NO ONE ELSE fall victim to this company.
