I was on my way out of the mall when I was approached by a young man ( he was from Israel & asked if I had ever been to Israel: I fell for the bait) who asked if I would like to have smooth hands as he had the perfect product. I was hesitant but let him place sea salts on my hands & poured water on it. My hands felt real soft & smooth & then applied hand cream.
I advised that I could smell a fragrance & he stated he had unscented hand lotion & applied it. I told him I could still smell a fragrance & he stated it was just natural oils. I was talked into the purchase of the products as he was very aggressive.
It was late, was tired & he cut the price in half & I took the bait. I kept telling him I was allergic to fragrance & he stated I could return the products for full refund if I was unhappy. Well, long story short, I woke up the next day with a sore throat due to the use of salts, lotion, & cuticle oil.
I looked @ the receipt that stated: NO REFUNDS, JUST EXCHANGES. I felt like a fool as I had just blown about $100 & I did not want any exchanges due to the fragrance in the products.
I googled complaints against Dead See Cosmetics & saw that some of the complainants had called the mall management & got refunds. I called North Star Mall, spoke with a mgmt representative & she spoke with the leaser of the company & BINGO: I got my refund. So please if you are dissatisfied with any product purchased at a Mall, contact the Management & they will work with you as they want your repeat business with the honest merchants. I was informed there had been lots of complaints against "Secret Spa" ( receipts state: Dead Sea Cosmetics) as that is what their sign says & refunds can be obtained. The manager of Dead Sea wanted me to go just before closing time & I said no way; I went early evening as I guess he did not want any potential customers to see I was getting a refund. Just remember, any legitimate company will refund your money if there is a problem; don't give up as we all work hard for our money.
