Scam and lies
DS Lite purchased for Christmas present on 08.11.09. When used, screen went blank - it was sent back at my cost and returned on 25.03.09 with the claim that it had been repaired - even though I should have had a new replacement. It was still faulty when it arrived (blank screen) so I returned it on 28.03.09, again at my cost. They have only just contacted me to let me know that is with them despite numerous emails from me. I have asked for a refund as I do not trust this company to repair this console efficiently and as I have had to purchase a console from a different company in order for my daughter to have her Christmas present, I no longer have need for this one.
They are now telling me that they will repair the console for free as a gesture of 'goodwill'(!?!?!) but if I want a replacement then I will have to pay postage of £15. There is no question of this company giving me my money. I need a complete refund for this item as the fault is all their's and to keep repairing an obviously defective console is a complete waste of time.

Avoid at all costs
I have had 12months of trouble with this company. Since purchasing a Nintendo DS for my young son. The DS broke twice despite having been hardly used because it got misplaced in his wardrobe for most of the 12 months. It was returned for repair twice. They have demanded £40 for the second repair even though it should still be in warranty. They say it is due to misuse, NOT TRUE. They are demanding £40 to repair or £15 to return on top of all of the return fees, import duty and original charges that have already been incurred. It's a long winded saga but I would definitely pay for a proper DS from the UK in future. Not worth the money of the continued hassle. AVOID AT ALL COSTS- complete con! Save yourself some money - buy one full price with a proper guarantee that will be upheld by a manufacturerer here in the UK not in Hong Kong where you won't have a leg to stand on. I've contacted Trading Standards, Customs and Excise etc. The DS is now in Hong Kong, I can pay £15 or £40 but neither way am I guaranteed a working DS where the touch screen will work. The last time I returned it the sound didn't work.

Awful, awful, awful
I bought this DS in October and asked to be with 2-3 days special delivery with insurance, received an email from dealsniper confirming. when i received the console, had to pay tax to get it, tax was same price as I paid for the console, but console was not working, after 2 weekes they asked me to send it back, after check if it was a console fault they would replace it and give me the money back for the postage. After 2 months I never heard anything anymore about it, and I was written to them every week. Then they replied that they were still checking the fault. After they replied saying maybe I would not get back because the address was wrong, how could it be wrong if they posted to me on the same address before??received the console back on the 27th January 2009, and again had to pay another fee for collection which was this time more expensive then what I paid for the console. Sent another email to them asking to send my money back as they promissed, but received an email today 7th february saying that they wont pay for anything as I agreed in the terms and conditions.I want to ask everyone to not buy anything with them, they just rip you off, tell you that you have a great deal and end up paying more then the real price in expensive shops. also the shop is not even in UK as they say, the office is in Hong Kong and they will never provide you a telephone number or office address, only a pO BOX number, so, for them to just still your money and desapear is very easy!!! BE CAREFULL WITH DEAL SNIPER.
