no authorization given to charge my debit card
What a waste off time. Called # on TV only $19.99, will send you 2 books and dvd.
I called. All I wanted were the books, not 22 min conversation with representative Linda, who was trying to sign me up for other programs. When I called, I told her that I was calling about books and would like to place an order. She said ok. She asked for my name, THEN SHE ASKED FOR MY CREDIT CARD #, then said that order will be process $19.99 for what show on TV (special) also a $9.99 s&h. I said ok. She then stated that order been verified and asked for mailing address . After I provided all that information to her, she started telling about all other futures that I will be charged for after 14 days of service if don't call back and cancel the programs. Advised her that I am not interested in their other products such as what she offered - foreclosure properties, additional dvd for extra $19.99 then access to web with immediate log in some magazine order, don't remember what else. Anyway, I told her, that It was 3:30 in the morning, and I just happen to be awake do to Saturday night and all I want is the $19.99 deal that was on TV while I was talking to her at the same time. She said that She still have to offer deals to me because doing her job. Advised her will not spent 30 minutes on call, I I wanted was books which comes to total $40 or so ($19.99 books, $9.99 s&h and additional $9.99 rushing charge, for 5 days, not 4-6 weeks). She kept telling me that she needs to tell me about these special deals if I don't want to pay this $ for whatever she was offering, then she can do that one special deal and so on. Came to the point when I told her "forget it" "don't even go further, stop right here". Told her Not wasting my time, I will just order from online.
Well I was not happy with her respond.
She told me that she already process the order and for me to cancel, I would need to cancel when shipment received, have 30 days. I asked her "What do you mean?" She said that it was to late because order was approved. I said "what do you mean approved? I never agreed to the services and the product yet but order was already processed?" She said "yes, " and if I want to cancel services or product, I would need to call customer service. I was pissed. So I asked her " So Linda, you want to tell me (and I added) hope your lines are monitored and recorded like you indicated in the beginning of the call because I was recording conversation at the same time, and you acknowledge call being recorded, You asked for my name, after I told you that I was calling about advertisement on TV and you asked for credit card #, then processed order (charged money) then gave disclosure that there will be other additional charges if don't cancel and so on, don't you suppose too give disclosure before charging credit card? and she goes, " well if you don't want it, you can cancel within 30 days" advised her, " didn't want it in the first place and told her that I didn't want". She kept telling me when received, call customer service and cancel it. Advised her, that what she did just now over the phone, violates every possible law, specially knowing call was recorded. By law, have to disclose charges and amount deducted before running the credit card, also no verbal permission was given to process and order for what she indicated I will be charged for.Processed credit card, without verifying information if credit card even belong to the caller (credit card under business name). Conversation ended with me ending the call with " Well you know that by what you did (above) you violate the law and If my statement will show any transaction related to today's call, or any future charges from you, that I did not authorize, I can insure you that I will take proper steps to legal action, and will sue them for all above violations.
As I can see, I'm not the only one, I dare them to charge my credit card because will not take much to take this public and file suit.
Well, I was really surprised to see a charge on my account for $49.80 today 4/7/2010. charge appeared under "yourtown" and gave a # 866.493.0256. I then I called above #, I was in shock to hear that it was this company. I got representative on the line and immediately asked to speak with person in charge, she said that she could help me and maybe there was no need to speak with supervisor. I advised her, that I don't want to get her involved in this mess and prefer to speak with supervisor directly. She said hold.
Lady by the name Tine got on the line, verified that she was in fact a supervisor and should be able to help. I id myself and briefly explained to her of what happen. Advised her, that their QA need to listen the voice track (they indicated that call monitored) to see that I never authorized any charges and now, since account was charged, it could become a big issue, due to the fact that appeared to be fraudulent charges. Advised Tina that hey have no more then 72 hrs to resolve this and call me back with outcome.
Waiting till 4/10/2010, then will file complain with attorney general and proceed with law suit for fraudulent charges.. Good luck to them

Representatives of Graziosi
After seeing Dean Graziosi's ad on TV, I called to get the book and had to listen to at least twenty other offers before getting to order. After receiving the book, I was called by someone from Dean's organization. I told the caller that I was at work and couldn't talk and that I had not opened the box yet because I was dealing with two deaths and would appreciate it if he could call me back next week to give me some time to look over the materials. The rep was insulting, disrespectful, and demeaning. He kept tryingto keep me on the phone and began to be belligerent. My boss walked into my office, and I disconnected the call. This loser calls immediately and leaves this scathing message and all of this nonsense. It was inappropriate, unprofessional, and disgusting. I don't want anything to do with this company. Buyer BEWARE.

HELP!
I ordered Dean's book and then the phone calls started. They continued to call for almost a year. Finally I spoke to one of them and between Dean's program and PMI, they got me for about 6, 500.00. They reassured me that my corporate credit would not be in my name (of course you have to pay another 2, 500 to find out how to establish corporate credit). Anyways, they set me up with some online videos and NEVER explained anything with their software and my "mentor", Donna, was never heard from again.
I'm a single mom, with a mortgage, student loans and now this credit card bill. I just want out. Is there anyone out there who has actually gotten something resolved from this company and can offer some assistance. I would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
