I purchased a leather bag costing £70 in February which developed a fault, I attempted to return this item on 29th March only to be told by the assistant manager Scott Cracknell who examined the bag (not in my presence)when the bag was returned to me it was damaged even more, he then advised me that it was not your policy to refund but would allow me to spend £70 in the store. He made me feel very uncomfortable in front of his staff, as this was a faulty item I felt it that you would replace it or give credit
I have spoken to the Office of Fair Trading and they quoted Sale of Goods Act 1979, in accordance with this ACT I am rejecting the goods for a full refund of £70.
I am notifying you that I am sending a letter to Mr Neil Boyt ( Store Manager) at the above address regarding this matter
