URGENT-FINAL REMINDER


Respected Sir,

I am holder of Account no 001301567784 with ICICI Bank Ltd. On 19th October’2009 I did shopping of Rs 1620/- from Big Bazar Zirakpur. When I made the payment of this amount through my debit card No (4216 2700 1328 6282), the request was declined twice. Thereafter I did the payment using my second debit card no(4216 2700 5805 6921) and the same was accepted. However, when I checked the mini statement of my account, I came to know that the amount of Rs1620/- had been debited from my account thrice whereas the actual deduction should have been only once. On requesting the phone bank authorities for the reversal of the money I was issued two request no’s against my complaint i.e. SR 122249421 and SR 123416549 and I received the reversal of the amount on 27-10-2009 and 07-11-2009 respectively and the entire issued was resolved.

However on the 1st of December’2009 again an amount of Rs 1620/- was deducted from my account twice i.e. the total amounting to Rs 3240/- was debited from my account. This transaction was fulfilled on 9th Decmeber’2009 when my salary was put into my account. Thereafter I again contacted ICICI bank phone banking and lodged a complaint against this transaction. I was issued two requests no’s SR 126887113 and SR 126887212 on 12 th Decmber’2009. However till date I have not received the reversal of my wrongly deducted money. On contacting the bank Authorities of ICICI bank, I was told that my SR’s had been closed on 22/12/2009 without any action on my request.

The money in question i.e. Rs. 3240/- have been deducted from my account without any intimation to me and against no expenditure done by me. The amount deducted at your end has no valid claim. I have undergone a lot of mental and physical harassment because of non co-operation from the end of the Bank authorities and phone banking staff. I have failed to get an appropriate answer and reversal of my money. Therefore I request you to kindly look into the mater on urgent basis and order the reversal of my money (Rs3240/-) at the earliest.

Hoping for a positive response from your side. Please get back to me within 2 working days, else a legal action would be initiated for harassment. Kindly co-operate, else this can lead to adverse circumstances for the Bank and Visa card.
