I have credit card companies using lawyer to get judgements against me. Why? Because no one has contacted them. I was told by Debtpro 123 not to speak to my creditors, therefore I did speak to them or tell them I was using their services. Debtpro did not contact them. When I spoke to debtpro 123 in March 2011 about this I was told that I needed to fill out a power of attorney form first. I signed up for their services in September of 2010. The power of attorney form was not sent out to me until March 2011. Why would they let 7 MONTHS go by before you send out this form for me to sign? They should inform your their clients that the credit card companies will not hear anything from Debtpro for 7 months. That is 7 months that my creditors heard nothing, it is no wonder why have gotten lawyers. Discover was willing to settle for 50% of the debt and I sent this letter out to Debtpro in January 2011 and their company ignored it, Now it is too late. Also, I called and complained to them in March, told them about the judgement that Discover was trying to do and no one from Debtpro called back. It is as if they do not care. Now I am trying to cancel their services and they said I have to sign a notice of cancellation or they won't cancel. I have sent a letter canceling their service and they said it will only be canceled if I sign their document waiving any refund to me. And worst of all, when I asked for the manager, they would not transfer me and when I asked for her name they would only give me her first name and refused to give me her last name. I can go to any McDonald and get the full name of the manager. VERY SUSPICIOUS!
