I use to work there for about 6 months. It was getting outrageously irritating knowing the fact that my managers had disrespected me due to my looks, and had refused to acknowledge the fact that I had been breaking my back to make Deer Park Cinemas a place where customers are being treating right and make sure they get their money's worth. I had worked on my off days, and on the days they had me scheduled and yet these people refuse to see that. There are two managers who are sisters and have basically teamed up and fire the people who have done nothing. My problem is this, they literally cuss out ALL employees in front of customers, give them ALL paycuts due to the lack of money making and over staffing to where people have to sacrifice their hours for the managers. Managers who take people's shifts AFTER the employees are scheduled to work certain days. Managers take their hours to make their money. There has to be something wrong with this picture. I have worked all national holidays (Thanksgiving, memorial day, veteran's day... Christmas) and have not received ANY holiday pay at all from them. Ashley and Lilly James ( the assistant managers) have cussed out every single one of their employees who have done nothing wrong. They refuse to satisfy customers needs and concerns and are looking around to cause trouble with customers and employees. Customers have come up to me several of times complaining about these two specifically, and I have brought these issues up several of times and they had cussed me out every time for just doing my job of forwarding the message. This has to be stopped before that place goes downhill.
