Ordered Alienware custom laptop 10/9/09. Was told it would arrive in about 14 days. Have been getting weekly revised delivery dates since then. Today - 12/17/09 - received another for 12/31/09 - my daughters PC has now died and now has no mechanism to do school work. You can't complain to anyone since when you call you get send around the customer service arena - which I doubt exists in the gool 'ol USA. So...they have my $4, 700 and I don't have a laptop! Michael Dell needs to be ashamed of himself for the way his company operates. Writes a book, becomes a partner with Zorros and creates One West - the old INdy Mac and brnigs those unethical - abet illegal busines practices into the mortgage industry. What does it take for the government to bring these poor businessmen back into ethical and legal business practices.

Dell needs to come clean with consumer practices and WALK THE TALK! If you can't deliver on time - don't take the order.
