incompatible graphics card
Dell guaranteed that I my graphics card would be compatible at any time I could get my money back and they would help me install it.
I called them, and they told me to call the manufacturer. they told me It was bad. I paid 20$ to send it back and then they told me I need drivers.
So I bought driver, then they told me I needed a 300W power source and my computer was only 250W and was incompatible.
21 days is not enough to find drivers and get all this technical support when dell lied and said they would help me.
any help would be nice.

Technical Support Service, Lost Computer
I sent my Dell computer in 10/1/2009 for technical support with my warranty (the shell was broken at hinge). Today is 10/24/2009, still have not received my computer. They sent my computer to my old apartment address, even though I told them I moved and gave them my new address - which is where they sent the box that I shipped the computer in. I have called more times than I can count, I think at least 15, been on the phone for hours - one day I was on for 2.5 trying to get some answers. I received a call today that they wanted to exchange my computer. I, like an idiot, did not back up my photos on computer so said no. He told me that although it was returned back to them it will take a while to find it. Great! And, if I do get an "exchange" I get an old computer that has been "well tested." This is the worst consumer experience I have ever had. I will never buy a Dell or any Dell product again.

The worst money ever spent
Do not buy a dell inspiron 910 mini computer. My computer worked great for two weeks and I believe that is the best I will ever get out of it. The operating system is Ubuntu - dell does not want to repair it -as a matter fact will tell you they do not fix computers that have this operating system on them and will drag out the time on the phone - transfering you to a network of incompetent people and do nothing to help but waste your time - horrible! However - after six hours of phone calls they agreed the computer should last more than two weeks and said they would repair it - I had no faith in their capabilities whatsoever - and I was right! I recieved the the piece of f***ing crap dell in the mail this week with no operating system at all on it. After several phone calls and several days and hours on the phone - once again on the phone to f***ing dell this week - they have agreed to fix the piece of crap computer - again. This is after the service tech asked if I had a screw driver so she could walk me through fixing my computer - the screws are so little that they should ship the tools to repair the computer if they are unwilling to back their product - which they seem to be experts at bilking the public for poor workmanship. I will be sending the computer back to be "repaired" but will chalk up the experience as a lesson learned- do not put your money into a f***ing dell unless you are willing to flush it and your time down the toliet.

Scam and rip off
I returned a laptop to del computers for a repair under warranty on the 4/3/2009. I was informed by a dell advisor that the laptop would be repaired under warranty, I also received an email wich stated that a fully functional laptop would b returned in 7 tp 10 working days. on the 12/03/2009 I was contacted by a dell operative that a charge of £287.00 would be required, when I commented on this he reduced the figure to £170.00, I stillwas not happy with this so I was old a cusomer service advisor would telephone me the next day. The customer advisor telephond meon the13/03/2009 to tell me everything I had been told the day before and with no new offer and did ot try to help me in any way. As a concequence of this the laptop is being returned unrepaired; I would not recomend Dell comuters to anyone following this episode and feel the customer service is zero, all they are interested in is selling poo er quality hardware.

Awful experience
I ordered Dell XPS M1530 laptop. Date of order: June 27, 2008. I live in Sweden. Sells Department manager (his name is Henrik Heinze) promised me that my laptop will be delivered not later than July 11 (two weeks after order). I really needed this laptop because I had to leave Sweden July 11. I had been waiting until the last minute. I called to the customer service July 11, and they said: "Your laptop will not be delivered today, because it is not shipped yet". I was very disappointed about that.
When I was on my way to airport, Henrik called me and said: "Actually, you laptop is almost delivered, but courier can't find your address. If you want you can contact them directly to pick it up...". Of course he lied, because he knew that I didn't have time for that. It was deception. I left Sweden without my laptop
I returned back to Sweden after 10 days - July 21. And my laptop was not still delivered. I got the message from Dell that delivery is delayed and delivery date is changed to August 6. I called them and they said: "Your delivery address is changed, we got message from Henrik Heinze about this". But I did NOT ask to do that! Furthermore, they can not believe you directly, so I needed to ask Henrik leave my address as it was before. He said: "I did not send any e-mails about changing your address". But other his colleagues said he did.
Well, these days I'm calling to Dell every day, and every day they promise me to deliver my laptop tomorrow. I'm still waiting for my laptop. I've lost money because of that.
I'm very disappointed about such a bad service and their lie. I'm full with their promises. If I knew that Dell has such terrible service, I would never order laptop from them.

SERVICE
I purchased a new computer to run Auto-cad and several other engineering programs. I call Dell to make sure that unit I ordered would run my programs, I was assured that it would so I went ahead with the purchase. When I tried to install auto-cad it failed I called Dell and was told that I was installing it wrong. After several weeks of back and forth. I asked to return the equipment I was then told that it was pass the return date. After numerals’ phone calls and e-mails I finally stopped payment. This was the only time I got a reaction from Dell. They would not take the equipment back or send a program that would allow my programs to rum. Vista had been installed on the unit, this will not run engineering programs. I asked for XP, I know that XP will run my programs. Dell told me that it would be another $ 200.00 for the XP program. Now over 2 years later I still have a computer that DOES NOT WORK the way I was told it would.

POOR KNOWLEDGE OF OWN PRODUCT
I had purchased a Vostro 200 2 years ago and the power supply is blown on it. Called customer service who diagnosed the problem and recommended to order the part. It's been 2 months and my order keeps getting cancelled without any explanations. When reorderd x3, always got a lame excuse that the order was not done right. Unfortunately all there work is handled abroad and not in the US. It's the last time I will spend money on a DELL product. We need to buy products who have a store or someone we can get in touch with in the US and not abroad. Poor customer service.

Awful experience
A packaged box was in my mailbox when I read it was from Dell. At the time thought a relative of mine had ordered something for his job. Later that day, I found out it was a prank sent by someone. No one had ordered it. Hope that someone else with the same experience will bring the pranksters to justice.

Hell from Dell
We bought a $1, 000.00 Desktop computer last year from Dell. When we got it...It didn't work and everything we ordered was not included. We call Dell to return it. They Paid no attention to our complaints but continued to say " How can we help you" After weeks of trying to get Dell to take the computer back They said " its been over 30 days now and you can't return it. They sent us another one which worked fine. Then a couple of weeks ago We ordered A laptop for my son. $1, 500.00...It can a few days ago. We ordered it with a built in Network card so all we had to do was get a sim card and put in it above the battery compartment.
Well we went to AT&T where they inserted the sim card. Well it didn't work...so we went online with the dell technicians...the preceded to delete the drivers and add this and delete this...Till nothing on it worked...not even the disk player. We were on the phone with them for 2 days.
I finally told them we would just send it bac...BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO they wanted to order a new part then have it repaired. Why would I spend $1, 500.00 on a new laptop and have it repaired when it hadn't even been used yet? They gave me a very hard time not wanting me to send it back. BUT I held firm...I'm still waiting for the return lable to send it back.
