Very unhelpful service
Wanted to order laptop debit card would not go through. said ok forget it. 3 days later deposited money on debit card. took money and sent laptop. bounced my light bill and car insurance. no lights for xmas or heat. 9 people i talked to and no onewould help. I was told send laptop back and in 30 days they would return my money. Merry Christmas.

Cost for repair of something new that has never connected to internet
Purchased a mini notebook for spouses birthday. could not get it to work, had friend try, same problems. called Dell, tech support for over 3 hours. transferred to other department.. over 21 days old, cost minimum $89 to repair. NEVER WORKED !!! no return possible, cost for repair of something new that has never connected to internet. Techs want to delete all info... FINE.. there is and never was any. IDIOTS !!! BACK TO HP FOR ME.

Save your sanity... do not purhase from Dell
I spent 107 minutes on the phone this mornign with Dell Customer Support. I was disconnected twice and transferred to a busy signal twice. I was in tears and frustrated beyond belief! And as of this writing I still have no resolution from Dell. I could not bring myself to call back today. maybe tomorrow! Save your sanity...do not purhase from Dell!

Awful customer treatment
I am very upset! several things! i ordered $500 worth of stuff for xmas for my son i sent it to my parents address to hide it and the bill sen to me i did this last yr and it was no problem this yr i got flagged! i called got disconnected 3x and finally got someone and i gave them my address, phone#, soc # and mothers maiden name they told me i had to wait to receive a letter in 14 days and to call back when i receive the letter and to do what it asks i spoke to a mgr because i cant get this in time for this crap she said i have to wait for a letter this is ridicilous about a stupid address whya cant it be adjusted over the phone? so i said cancel my order and i will buy it at walmart she said no problem and canceled the order and hung up on me! this is how you treat customers? i do alot of business with you all im very upset! and I bought a computer last yr i have 5 days left on my warrty my computer doesnt hold a chrg my hubby called on it and the guy in the middle of the disscusson said i have to go to coffee break now and i will call you back and never did! my hubby called back to speak with another person and said they have specific break times this is sooo unecuseable in my book! we are sending the computer back i hope this gets resolved! im waiting and gonna pay off the account and will never shop with you people again i am soo dissapointed and will tell all of my family and friends the same!

Dell refuses to continue help due to limits of the contract
Simply a friend, even having paid $200.00 for Dell support, has been getting "help" that is not associated with the real problem. Then Dell refuses to continue help due to limits of the contract. Also, he has had to go to a local store to easilly remedy the problem by installing a sound card update for a meer $29.95.

What a waste of time!
What a waste of time!!! I barely got out my name, and certainly did not get through explaining my issue, and they transferred me. I must have given my name and information to AT LEAST 7 different agents!! All of which would transfer me, even before I could finish explaining my issue. Something MUST be done. I have never been met with such a lack of professionalism. They should bring these jobs back to Canada and the US!

SENT EQUIPMENT
I, Mr. Thomas L. Brown, want to make a complaint against Dell. I had a Dell Account, since 2000, I have ordered 4 laptops and 5 desk tops and 4 printers. My grandson's computer was not lighting up. He called Dell and they asked me if I would authorize the purchase. I said yes. The wrong part was sent 4 times. When my grandson called about the returning of the parts he was told that he should have done that early, that is when he was told about the 3 week time limit. He said he was promised that the boxes would be sent. The company has called and harassed me constantly. I have had no apology from anyone. I only have these people that do not speak English call with no help. I REALLY NEED TO return the 3 parts and get all the late charges and interest charges taken off my bill. I DO NOT WANT PARTS that I Did NOT order AND THE PEOPLE that take your complaints should know what they are doing and get it right. I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau and FTC.

I will never use Dell or buy Dell at all for such poor support
I recently placed an order for a network disk at Dell . After more than 20 days, it doesn't come as the shipment notification sent to me. I wrote to support online which kicked the ball to phone support. Having called Dell 800 support line 4 times with 20 minutes waiting on line each time because the line was dropped once you gave the order number.

Anyway, long story short, finally I was told that the billing address of credit card payment is not the same as shipping address. Why can't they reject my order at the placement? Why do they take my order without checking it at the first place? Further more, they should let me know after they found out instead of waiting for me as customer to call them. They have my email address used to notify me the shipment. They are just terrible! not a good service company. Since I have so many sites as option to buy computer and accessories, I will never use Dell or buy Dell at all for such poor support.

billing
This company calls 6-7 times a day, even on Sundays harrassing my very ill mother about a computer they charged her over 5000 for that costs under 1000 at walmart. They take the payment out of her account every month but then call and are very rude wanting more. We've told them to take it back because it is always breaking down but they wont. These people will harrass you beyond normal. The calls have her so stressed bit actuaaly causes her to get sicker.

i wrote a letter to Mr. Michael Dell in Texas..They have outsourced ALL of their service to India. this sucks! my husband is ready to take this computer to mr dell himself!! I would recommend writing a letter to Mr. Dell, type the address on the envelope..type in larger letters, "REQUESTED INFORMATION"..it will get someone's attention..good luck guys!
