If you can't produce a quality product stay out of the market
After purchasing this lcd tv I have had nothing but problems, the origional unit was nonrepairable and I was sent a factory serviced replacement this unit is now disabled with no audio, not lasting any longer than the first with no waranty left, Dell s service group in India said I had a hardware problem and to take it to a electronics repair facility, really. $1600 for three years of viewing and numerous service calls I want my tube tv back it still worked after 15 years!!! Dell if you can't produce a quality product stay out of the market.

Will never order anything from Dell directly again
Ordered a desk top + accessories on Aug 22/09 with the estimated shipping date of Sep 8. Checked the status on-line today (Sep 1) and the estimated delivery has changed to Sep 17. Called the support and the reason they gave me was that this particular model is very popular and they cannot catch up with the demand. I asked whether it was possible to cancel the order and the answer was yes (you would expect that answer, if the delivery date is over 2 weeks away).

Called son and confirmed he wanted to cancel and go to a retail store to purchase something similar, and called Dell 90 minutes after the original call, and was told it's no longer possible to cancel. I asked to escalate the matter and held for 5 minutes, and was told that there was not anyone available to speak to me but instead I will receive a call within 4 hours.

I used to have much better customer service experience with Dell (I guess that was in the 1990's) - wonder what has changed. Will NEVER order anything from Dell directly again.

harrassing calls
I have received over 15 calls a day from united recovey system, stating that they are Dell Finanical Services. I explain that I had made arragement with Dell on settlement of my account. They stated that account had been turned over to them plus a 80% mark up on a dollar for recovery.

After coming to agreement to settle the account. They refused the a money order and stated they needed to have assest to my bank account for payments, because they no longer receive money orders or any other payment by mail into their offices.

Bad customer service
I placed an order with Dell on March 10th 2010 and its now April 7th 2010 they have reprocessed my order twice now and they have failed to ship my item and when you call them it takes one hour average and the call most times drops after they transfere you to about 8 different people. Dell is really horrible at customer service and there buisness practices needs to be examed.

Shocking experience with Dell
I do not know if this is the right place to complain, but I can not find another, it is outrageous that you have paid for a computer from DELL latinamerica July 3, 2009 and have to wait until September 2, 2009 to receive it.

I live in a South American country, but I think I deserve respect, because I paid my purchase as a consumer of any other country, and the website indicated that the delivery time was a month.

How could have delayed the delivery of my computer on two occasions by requirements in the production process and have rescheduled the date of dispatch twice too?

So far in tracing request does not indicate any information about where the team, I imagine that if this information is not, because it really has not left the United States. Or if not, why is it the new ship date of August 14?

Please more respect with consumers of all countries, because our money is achieved, for having to endure this abuse, to the time of delivery.

If you do not have the equipment available for the timely delivery then making them available at the website and clarification that may take as long as three months to arrive as I do.

delivered to wrong adderss
I ordered some items from DELL, which they unfortunatelay send by Purolator! Bad choice, even though the address hous number was clearly marked as being 84, they delivered it at number 64!
When I send a package to Germany last year, it ended up in Alabama! It took 4 months to get the package back via UPS, which I had to pay!

The customer is not first with them
Dell canceled my order 4 times without even telling me. Each time I had to find out by the tracking number. The last time they canceled my order i spent more than 2 hours on the phone trying to get it fixed. I will never do business with them again. They even promised me a better price if I would order the same product ( flash drives) from them again. This was later denied and I was told not possible. Looks like they train their people to tell bold faced lies. Terrible company. The customer is not first with them.

Bad customer service
I ordered equipment from Dell and it was supposed to be delivered March 3 and March 4. I called to find out what happened to my order today March 10. I was placed on hold for too many minutes only to be told my products were returned to Dell. Money from one product was returned to my checking account. The other product they did not do anything with. I asked why didn't I get an email stating as such? No response. Placed on hold again. Then told I had to re-order the products. Finally, asked to speak to supervisor. Representative did not want me to speak to a supervisor. I insisted. Finally, I was told he was transferring me to a supervisor. I was placed on hold for 5 minutes before a supervisor came to the phone. (Probably hoping I would hang up). When supervisor came to phone I expressed my dissatisfaction with Dell. (First, they transfer you around the world. You can hardly understand their representatives. When you ask to speak to someone in America you're told they transfer you to the first representative). The supervisor told me how sorry he was and that he would not transfer me to anyone else he would take care of my order. Lo and behold he had to transfer me to someone else for Dell to take care of the second part of my order. Instead of saying they would express my order to me because of the delay, I was told my order should arrive by March 16. It is a total lack of respect for their customers. I told representative that I would not recommend Dell to anyone and I discourage anyone from buying anything from Dell. I spent over $500 and after receiving my payment Dell does not take care of their customers. They are only interested in money not satisfying their customers. PLEASE DO NOT BUY DELL PRODUCTS. YOU WILL TRULY BE DISSATISFIED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICES.

Cannot find a Dell representative with any authority that will deal with the problem
I bought a Dell Inspiron 531 with Vista Premium about a year and a half ago. I have spent so much time on the phone talking to dell technicians about the constantly occuring problems, so that I am about ready to go to Apple PC's. I had hardware extended warranty, so all of my problems became software problems. I bought software extended warranty, and now they are "hardware related software" problems. Several times the solution has been to reload all the software, meaning who knows how many hours saving everything, risking losing stuff, and then reloading everything. The first time this was recommended by atechnician on a previous problem I found a software technician that implemented a simple fix. I have several specific complaints.

1. I cannot find a Dell representative with any authority that will deal with the problem. You can't get by the overseas technicians.
2. There is a real language barrier, even though the technicians you are dealing with "speak English".
3. I have a relatively new computer that would have been handled by "lemon laws" if it was a car. Dell, replace my PC with one that works reliably.

Poor service
After being a loyal Dell customer for more than eight years, I finally gave up on Dell. It is incredible how their service has gone down the drain. All one gets now days is a service representative who can never resolve anything. Of course, you have to hold forever on the phone.

I will never ever buy another dell computer or product.

I bought a laptop in the States, since moved to Mexico. Supposedly my international guarantee was valid world-wide, except when I need it, of course.

Every time I ask for a service representative to transfer me to a manager, they are always unavailable.
