Our sons best friend sent his bat back to DeMarini under there ONE YEAR WARRANTY and to there surpise the company told them that the damage to their bat was not done by normal game play. They could NOT tell them how it was damage except that it could not have happened by a baseball. This kid is one of the kindest kids on our team. He is a leader and always supporting his team mates. We as a team and as parents who purchase these expensive bats for our kids to play baseball. We know that bats are not perfect and by no means should this kid feel as though he is being called a liar by DeMarini. They were not there when the bat was hit by the ball, we were and they will NOT prove to his parents exactly how it was damaged except for that it couldn't have been by a baseball. If you have ever watched the college world series they dent alot of bats during those games and I am sure that they replace those bats without any fuss. I hope that DeMarini and its parent company Wilson Sporting Goods change their mind and do the right thing. Very disappointing. The team will as a whole will no longer purchase DeMarini bats or products because of this issue. My son was there and saw what happened that night along with all of us parents, DeMarini was not. SHAME ON THEM!
