Well me and my fiance have two vehicles. A truck and a two door coupe car. I decided to take our truck one day and my fiance had taken the car to work. I get a call from him around 9:00 pm or so while he is at work and he tells me he locked the keys in the car and I needed to bring him a wire hanger and some other tools to unlock the door since we did not have a spare key available. The first thought in my head was "NO WAY!" What if we do something wrong and the window busts out??? I decided to call a locksmith. I looked in the yellow pages and found a 24 hour locksmith. It seemed okay and I have never really had to use a locksmith before so my first instict was give them a call. I call them and the rep asks for my name, type of car, color of car, year of car, where the car is, where the keys are in the car, and millions of other questions. The only questions I wanted to ask them is "How much will it cost?" I did just that, and the rep I was speaking with told me that the locksmith will give me the price when he meets me. Since my fiance was working, I had to drive to his work and meet up with the locksmith. I asked the rep how long it would be and they said about fifteen minutes.
I drove to my fiance's work and it was pouring rain. I waited for about twenty minutes before I got a call from the locksmith saying he was on his way and he would be there in about 15-20 minutes! I could not believe that they were adding more time onto the initial time! He sounded foreign and I was a little nervous so I called my fiance and told him I might need him to come out and be with me while this man was working on our car.
I was not sure how much it would cost me so I had $90 cash on me and that was it. When the locksmith got there, I asked him how much it would be and he said $118! I was shocked! I had to call my fiance to come out incase I couldn't talk the guy down and we needed to pay the rest. The locksmith unlocked the car in literally a minute! I told him I only had $90 dollars on me and I complained to him for how late he was so he wrote on our receipt $90 flat. So I got a discount out of the deal but I STILL thought that the price was outrageous!
A few days later I became sick with the flu or something and I was not feeling well. My fiance was at work once again and I was lying in bed and I kept receiving call after call from this number (727) 464-9006. This number gave me calls at 12:30, 2:00, 3:00am, 4:30pm. My phone tells what state the number is from and that area code is Florida! I was like who would be calling me from Florida?! I live all the way in Utah! I started thinking it could be a corporate office telling me I missed a payment for something or I owed money for something so I tried calling the number back. The number gave me a busy signal.
Then I was on the phone with my mom and she gave me the idea to google it. So i typed the number into google and all these different links came up about the same number and it came up Dependable Locksmith! I was amazed.
I then found a link that told me to call the number- (727) 464-9006. I called this number and a man answered with a foreign accent. I told him I received service from a locksmith a few days ago and now I keep getting calls from this strange number and I wanted to know why. He didn't not even consider my questions, he just asked where did you get this number? where did you get this number? I then told him I found this number on a website from other people who have been bothered by the same number I have. He told me that was strange cause only like four other people know his number. I said "uh... this 9006 number is posted all over the internet." By then I was getting quite angry with the man and I told him to make the phone calls stop or I was going to be calling his number again. I haven't gotten a call from the 9000 number since.
Do not call dependable locksmith or 24 locksmith! They outrageously charge you and you will die... with irritation!
