The appointment was made weeks ago. I made special trips to obtain, fill-out and then return paperwork ahead of time for efficiency. The insurance information was made available to them at the same time – stressing over and again that it would not go into effect until the morning of the appointment.
I even had the foresight to fill out a request to have my dental records sent over from my previous dentist. They said it was faxed over, but there was no follow-up to confirm receipt.
When I arrived for my appointment, nothing had been entered, no insurance had been verified. After sitting in the chair for an hour (for a two hour procedure) they were still dealing with organizing, entering and confirming all the paperwork. To clarify, they had all that information weeks ahead of time.
Finally, I left. I already had been there for an hour for what was to be a two hour appointment. And they yet to even look at me.
I had gone above and beyond to get them everything they needed ahead of time, they chose not to do anything with it until I was sitting in the chair.
While they did admit they failed to properly enter all the infromaiton, they made no concession. I either did the procedure then – getting me to work much later than what was anticipated – or re-schedule at another time that was convenient for them.
And after all of that, they tried to bill my insurance – nothing was done. All that time was spent on paperwork, for that is their priority, not their patients.
They have nice front office. But its merely a pink ribbon on sows ear. Do not bother with this office, for they are in it only for themselves, with absolutely no concern to their patients.
