This a complaint about damaging dental treatment I received from Dr. Thanathon Thungtong, prosthodentist and Prof. Somchai, Implantologist in Dental Time Dental Clinic, Bangkok on 10 December 2009.

I lived in Thailand from 10 December 2008 to 15 January 2010. Towards the end of that time, unfortunately, I lost two teeth and needed to have titanium implants and crowns installed.

I went to Dental Time Dental Clinic in Bangkok and explained to Dr. Thanathon Thungtong, prosthodentist, and Prof. Somchai, Implantologist, that I most likely would not be able to stay the three months after the titanium implants were installed to have the crowns made and installed.

Note: Between the instillation of titanium implants and the making and installing of the porcelain crowns three months must elapse.

Both, Dr. Thanathon Thungtong and Prof. Somchai said that there was no problem because the Zimmer titanium implants which they will install are know all over the world and that I will be able to have the porcelain crowns made and installed in every country.

So, with Dr. Thanathon Thungtong and Prof. Somchai assurance that I would be able to have the porcelain crowns made and installed in every country, on 10 December 2009 I paid Dr. Thanathon Thungtong and Prof. Somchai 76, 000 B and they installed two Zimmer titanium implants.

On 15 January 2010 I and my wife had to leave Thailand (alas) because my wife received a new mission in the Philippines.

When the three months elapsed from the instillation of the Zimmer titanium implants I when to many dentists in the Philippines only to discover that Zimmer titanium implants were/are unknown in the Philippines and crowns could not be made for the Zimmer titanium implants in the Philippines.

In August 2010 I and my wife moved to Mauritius again because my wife had and has a new mission here.

Again, I went to many dentists in the Mauritius only to discover that Zimmer titanium implants are unknown in the Mauritius and crowns could not be made for the Zimmer titanium implants in the Mauritius.

Dr. Thanathon Thungtong and Prof. Somchai of Dental Time Dental Clinic do not reply to my e-mails asking for a refund of my wasted 76, 000 B.

This situation is worse than nothing because having the Zimmer titanium implants (for which the porcelain crowns cannot be made) means that no other implants and be installed and I will be, until I die, without two teeth :( !!!

STRONGLY ADVISE NOT GOING TO THE THIEVES Dr. Thanathon Thungtong, prosthodentist and Prof. Somchai, Implantologist in Dental Time Dental Clinic, Bangkok, Thailand!
