Debbie ashida is the worst dentist i have encountered in my life. For an annual cleaning, along with ex-rays etc. I visited her because she was availbale at the time, and I had pain on the left side of my face, upper molar. irst of all, I waited forever to be seen, then they cleaned my teeth. The Dr. debbie L Ashida came over me with 2 other assistants and did not even introduce herself as the Doctor!!! I asked who is the doctor, and one assistant said to be "she is" pointing. The doctor did not take a cue and then say hello or anything, she just walked away!. i then asked for my ex-rays to see if i have cavities because of the pain I was suffering, and the asstsant told me the Doctor will inform you if you have any cavities.
The doctor never came, because about 10 minutes later, they ushered me out of the chair so they can seat another patient. I then asked about my results of the ex-rays, and the assistant said "No you have no cavities or the doctor would have said it'. I said "Ok", but i know i have at least 1 cavity, then asked forsomething to help with my receeding gum lines and they prescribed (as assistant brought it over), Prevident which I paid for and left, because the assistant said she spoke to the doctor and i had no cavities. By the way, my insurance was Medicaid.

Because I still had the pain in my mouth and I was dissatisfied with the service I received through Deddie Ashida, DDS, I called another dental office and asked to be seen. we made the appt. but they told me i had to get the ex-ray rcords from Debbie Ashida, otherwise, i'd have to pay for new ones to be taken. I called debbie Ashida's office, and was told she was on vacation but returing the following Monday and she'll sign off on the ex-rays and mail them out. This mail out would be free, but if I want to pick them up, it would be a $25 charge. Of course I asked that they mail it out. 5 months later I am still waiting for my ex-rays to arrive at my doctor!. can you believe i have been waiting since August 2009 for Debbie Ashida to send me ex-rays over to my dentist? I have to either pay her $25 and pick it up 9if that option is still available) or pay for new ex-rays because she is just not sending them. I have called her office and begged and threatened to no avail. the office assistants who seem very nice indicate that only debbie ashida can sign off on those ex-rays, not even their office manager.
Can you believe that as a result i am being denied medical attention and have to suffer through this pain because of this woman's incompetence (did not examine my ex-rays). i am so frustrated I do not know where to turn, except try to caontact medicaid's office.
Debbi Ashida, dentist who advertises alot, is just a chop shop, and I would not recommend her at all to anyone. I bet if the authorities take a closer look at her office they would find many charges to bring her up on.

Right now all I need are my ex-rays so i can seek medical attention I so need.
