Not only have I wasted many hours on hold with Maytag - Dependability Plus, butI have been met with staff that are NOT knowledgeable, UNorganized and some who have made me feel like I was an unavoidable interruption to their day and have a 'that’s all I can do so deal with it' attitude. RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL !!!
4 year old JennAir refrigerator (with a 5 year warranty) ---compressor died - Dependability Plus sent a Service provider who is Not authorized to service Jenn Air products??? Do you know how long it takes just to get DP to even take your call?? To have wasted time with a service agent not authorized to service our product - unbelievable! As of the date of this post - 14 days without a working refrigerator and still counting. I guess the only recourse is consumer affairs since MAYTAG & DEPENDATILITY PLUS does NOT HONOR WARRANTIES SOLD WITH THE PRODUCTS!!! and of course, never ever purchase a product under the WHIRLPOOL CORP. umbrella - because if they cared about repeat business they would ensure good service!
