My original CS order is from NY, i moved to FL 2004 and my case was transfer to FL so they can take care my side of the case. My daugthers turned 18 yrs old past Sept 2010, i recieved a letter from Pinellas Park County Clerck Court stating that i was done pain CS and that case is closed and cc: My job, Disbursement Unit & Dept of revenue (CS), well in January 2011 i started receiving letters from Dept of revenue to suspend my license for not paying child support. I go to CS office and present them my evidence that the case was closed by court, they replied Pennsylvania is making them enforce the order from NY, they said they were going to investigate. It took all the way to April 2011 to PA to answer via Fax that case needs to remain open due to enmancipation in NY is 21 yrs old and that i have to paid until, i said no problem, i recieve the order for deduction from my ck, my job starts sending the money but ck was returned back because Disb. unit still had case closed, now i applied to buy a house and come to find out that my credit showing the arrears, called them and explaing not my fault they say nothing they can do, im not trying get out of payin just want arreas of credit report.
