Dermitage Advanced Skin Renewal Reviews

Deceptive Trade Practices
This appears to be the latest scam - When I was looking at a particular website, Sam's Club was mine, and completed my search for products, I closed it. Immediately after closing the window a pop-up appears and invited me to take a survey for Sam's Club. Call me naiive, but I really thought that Sam's Club was sending the survey as it was my first one to see this pop-up. The message said that if I filled out the questionnaire that I would receive a FREE gift. There were 3 or 4 different companies' products to choose from. This one interested me the most. All I had to do was to pay shipping which was $3.97 to get Anti-Aging products Instant Lifting Creme and Skin Renewal Complex . What better way to try the products to see if it was as good as the company claimed and at such a great price for full sized products. Now if, at that point, they said that it was a "trial offer" and that it was for 2 weeks, I did not see or read that and I don't believe that it did. However, after I received an email confirming my order which reads, "Thank you for your Free–Trial order! Now I didn't receive this email until after the weekend and it was on Saturday that I ordered my "free gift. The email reads like this:

"Your free trial of the Dermitàge Anti–aging system will be shipped in 1–2 days via regular mail.

"(Please read below for more details on your free trial)

The results are proven*:

Boost collagen production by 166%
Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by 57%
Increase skin firmness by 55%
Improve skin hydration by 51%
Increase skin clarity and luminosity by 45% "

Then it tells me this,

"Free Trial Details:
You will have 14 days to try the Dermitàge Anti–Aging System and discover why it is the perfect skincare system for you. If you like how our system reduces the visible signs of skin aging, do nothing – at the end of your free–trial period you will be charged the discounted price of $89.95. If for any reason the system is not for you, call Dermitàge Customer Care toll–free at 800–886–8805 within your 14-day free–trial period to cancel. Then simply return the product (even if it is empty!) and you will NEVER be billed. No commitments, no hassles."

What is fascinating about this that I have 2 weeks to see the changes to my face, but in their email it states this about how long it took to see the claimed results,

"* Clinical results obtained among test subjects after 12 weeks of continuous use."

Now how am I supposed to see results in 2 weeks when it took 12 weeks to reach the results stated above?

I was so irritated about all of this because, now if I return it without using it or use it for 2 weeks where it takes 12 weeks to see all these changes in my skin, I've wasted shipping and the $19.95 for the eye serum that got at a "real value". I was so disgusted and humiliated that I actually fell for this, that when it came I put the box aside. The 2 weeks were over and I was charged $89.97 on my charge card. I called in and cancelled this so I wouldn't be billed again and I told the C.S. rep. that I thought I had been scammed and he apologized and said that it was a good product and that they can skip a month or two before sending another month's supply. I said I didn't want to have anything to do with their company and cancelled.

After I got off the phone, I pulled up their official website so that I could write them an email to complain, but there was not a "Contact Us" anywhere - not even a phone number of the company that at least was on the packing list. That seemed very odd to me and raised even more red flags. The packing list didn't even have their website address on it as most companies have.

Since I first saw the pop-up after closing the Sam's Club website offering a survey for free products, I've had several of these pop up after visiting other websites so now I see the whole scheme. What I shame that you can't take companies at their word like Dermatage. I don't blame Sam's Club because I don't think for one minute Sam's Club authorized this like I did before.

I intend to contact Sam's Club because, unlike Dermatage, the Sam's Club website offers "Contact Sam's Club". I am letting them know what happened to me and to ask if they have had complaints from other - I can't imagine I'm the only person this has happened to.

I am strongly cautioning you to think before y0u do any business with this company - BUYER BEWARE.

They keep sending me more, and charging my account.
I told them I would take the second $99.95 shipment, but would order or not after that. Today I got another package in the mail--the 3rd shipment which I will return with a signed receit. I want them to stop this!! This kind of things puts people off.
